No kidding! The Champions Rate is going to be 90% pop girls because that's all we do

The Pazz and Jop edition of 2013 came out today, but all the links Google is coming up with aren't working for me. I'm 99.99% sure Yeezus is #1.
I can't wait for TW2013!
EDIT: Yeezus, Modern Vampires..., RAM, Beyoncé (!!!!), Acid Rap, m b v, Days Are Gone, The Electric lady, Walking on a Pretty Daze, Kacey are the top 10. What's our lineup, Ace?
Your girl Neko is #11 and Disclosure-Arcade Fire-Bowie-Sky make for a beautiful #13-16 run. Drake, Pusha T, and Danny Brown are somewhere there (TWRAP2013???!) Matangi is top 30 and Lorde was somewhere there as well.
I'm overly excited about this list.

I'd do a Jewel singles rate, but I doubt there'd be any participants

I am DYING to do a Brandy singles or discography rate tbh. But probably not till a bit later in the year.

I'm trying to tell you sister. After the BIG BANG of FALL 2013, we have to take a break.
Come on girls. We CAN do better. We MUST do better.

Oop let me hope you didn't see my whole discussion with myself about it. I'ma have to discuss this with y'all when you see it, though!
What's the tea on any Beyoncé or Kanye discography/single/etc. rates? They've probably been done before my time here but I would love to see anything with those two.

That's a good idea! We could throw in Ester Dean, make it Sia, Emeli, Bonnie, and Ester… the songs they've written for pop girls.

I really want to see the full list but can't find it anywhere.
But yes these albums would make a fantastic This Was 2013 rate.

I think it would be interesting because they are so varied… Ester is more urban (Rihanna), Bonnie is very pop (Katy and Ke$ha), and then Sia and Emeli make beautiful music that's more mature. I'm not sure it would be as easy as some others, but I do realize that would involve a lot of popular choices being included (like Teenage Dream).

I am so here for Jewel! But what if instead we did a '90s Chanteuse Rate—say Pieces of You, Jagged Little Pill and Tidal?
Aside: This reminds me of the Lilith Fair rate I wanted to do but never got around to!

"All of the Lights" won the Kanye singles rate.
Beyoncé's still hasn't happened yet because Ace is being a derelict.

It's gotten so confusing now! So many questions?
Will there be any more singles from this latest album?
Should I include Grown Woman and Standing on the Sun?
Does End of Time count?
Who will make the graphics??!?!?!
