locking into moves and items is kinda stupid IMO...

A. i think most of us still learns our teams and we are not the super monotype specialists... so if i dont see things working i might want to tweak some things for my next battle...

B. Every pkmn has a certain role in every team... many pkmn can serve multiple roles depending on what u need! since we have 8 pkmn instead of 6! what if i want to change pkmn A to pkmn B but then i end up with 2 pkmn serving the same role since pkmn C is locked on a certain role or not having a needed role because i cant change pkmn D set ?!!

to give examples!

in order to make it more clear charizard can mega evolve to x and Y and i want to have both options and not ****ing lock on one mega! or what if i want to use mega houndoom or normal houndoom depending on the rest of the teammates...

I mean he kind of has a point. I wouldn't mind having multiple of the same Pokémon that can fill my 8 slots. Ice is such a limited type as it is, the best ones often serve multiple functions.

let me make it more clear... charizard Y and mega houndoum are both UU (in case mega word makes u scream OP)


Not only using one blocks the other but also they greatly effect their teamates... (mega houndoom definitely needs a sun inducer for example)

I think a better example would be, like, Azelf or something. He's not used much anymore, buy he can be a lead, support Mon, all out attacker, Baton passer, etc

I mean at this point i'd rather lock to just 6 pkmn and be able to change their sets than having 8 pkmn with locked sets..

Mega Charizard Y is quite possibly the most broken Pokemon in ''UU'' right now. Besides, UU isn't even formed yet. Actually, it doesn't even have a Beta ladder at all. The current Alpha one is only operating based on the first usage statistic from Gen 7 OU; it's hardly stabilized at all, and you using it to make it seem like Charizard Y ain't that big of a deal is a mess.

Might I also add that in Monotype, Charizard Y is one of the the best Pokemon for Fire.
