Tegan and Sara host HRC Fundraiser concert pt 2
After Carly was done, the stage was being re-arranged one last time to prepare everything for Tegan and Sara's own set. As the crowd was waiting anxiously for the band to return, Christina, Selena and Carly suddenly entered the stage, taking the mic to surprise their friends with a lovely little introduction, that actually mdae them tear up, as Sara admitted to us later.
Selena: Hello, everyone! We, the girls, would like to present the sweet, fabulous, fantastic, girls, Tegan & Sara! They are a fresh breath of air to the music scene, and we can't get enough of them!
Christina: These girls helped me through the projects that I did like my album and charity, and really are the sweetest gems ever.
Carly: These girls are also Canadian like yours truly and do nothing but stay true to themselves and make great music. Please welcome, Tegan and Sara.
Tegan and Sara played a set of old and new songs afterwards, showcasing their back catalogue from If It Was You all the way to Shipwrecked. The crowd never stopped celebrating them, cheering for every song as if it was new. And there were a couple of 'real' new songs, tracks from their new album that had never been played live yet such as “Atlantic Running” and “Screw The Keys”.
They impressed the audience with the middle part of the set, which contained cover songs from the three pop girls present. Christina Aguilera was seen close to tears as Tegan and Sara played their rendition of The Voice Within, and the homages to Cary and Selena went down equally well. It showed again how versatile and diverse Tegan and Sara are as performers and singers, they both have some great talent that you can't deny!
They closed their set with current smash hit 'Youth', a celebration unlike everything I'd ever heard before, as the whole audience was singing along at the top of their lungs. It's no wonder Tegan and Sara received standing ovations at the end.

After the last performance of the night was done, Tegan and Sara joined the already partying audience and got lost in the crowd at the afterparty. The special guest DJ was none other than David Guetta himself, making people shake their legs like crazy and creating the best mood possible.
Everyone ended up going home satisfied, many visitors stated that it was one of the best events in NYC this month, not to mention the fact that it was for a good cause and all money will go towards the Human Rights Campaign in order to keep fighting against inequality.

JUSTIN PLAYS MVP GAME
Justin played at MVP Celebrity All Star Game tonight with many other superstars. His team won! The proceeds and tickets of the game went to Cancer Donations. Justin was voted the MVP of his team, and he shared how fun and great it was to play some celebs and be apart of a huge donation.

Critics bashed the contestant, but also Rihanna, saying that as a professional she should keep her cool. After the contestant left Rihanna returned to the stage with red puffy eyes, clearly having finished crying. Fans of the show sympathised with Rihanna though, as seen by tweets below:

Little Mix Interview With MTV
The music channel had a interview with the newly signed girlgroup to discuss their new music and label.
So ladies, how is the label treating you?
IJesy: t's great. We're relieved to finally have some freedom, and more promotion, you can say.
Have you been recording any music for your second album yet?
Jade: Well we just got signed, but yes, we've definitely been recording and putting our our part to the experience as well.
Perrie: Writing lyrics and such.
Sounds good. Any word on the album release date?
Leigh: We can't say much, but we're releasing a EP first. We'll still have a album out of course, but just a EP of new songs to expose us a bit.
Any ideal collaborations??
Jade: Well, we'd like to do something with Justin Bieber in the future. We're also open for anything with R&B artists since we'll go that direction or maybe one or two rappers.
Ok, would you do something with One Direction at all??
Perrie:.....T-too many vocalists, it'd be strange.

Okay, and finally, what's the single like?
Jesy: It's called Solo and it's kind of more downtempo, like our songs Going Nowhere and Case Closed. It has an acoustic feel and we'd say it's pop with R&B elements.
