With the release of her new album, entitled "Haven", Jigglypuff has launched a promotion campaign to span over the course of the week. This time she is targeting the United States and United Kingdom.
In Japan, there are real life Pokemon Centers. However, they are exclusive to Japan...until now. Select malls in the United States and the United Kingdom have been transformed into Pokemon Centers for this major campaign.
Day 1: Jigglypuff has decided to start with the United States. During the first day, there was a mini-concert consisting of 5 songs from the album, the set list is here:
1. Release!
2. Boys Like Boys' Love
3. Return
4. Haven
5. We Run It
The final song performed, We Run It, had vocals by Gwen Stefani, although she was unable to come to the first stop. Whether she will appear in future locations in not yet known. "We Run It" is the 1st song revealed to be on the deluxe edition of "Haven", but there are apparently 3 other tracks left to be revealed, as hinted at by the deluxe edition album cover + back revealed at the first stop. The other 3 tracks were blank, so there is no way of telling what they are, or if there are any features.
After the mini concert, there was a contest held. This time it was a race across the Pokemon Center. The contestants had to collect 6 Pokeballs (each filled with different things that were unknown to the player until they got to the Healing Station) The winner was the person that had the Jigglypuff Fan Pack voucher (there was only 1). The winner of this voucher not only got the fan-pack from the Tokyo mall tour, they also got various other prizes (most offered by Nintendo), that garnered a total of $2,500 of merchandise.
What will happen on Day 2 of this Pokemon Center tour is still up in the air, but it is sure to be exciting!
