Since HTGAWM is now over. I began to watch Empire and honestly it's not as good.
Like I've said before it's like a black Desperate Housewives (but not as good). The acting is kinda bad. With Desperate Housewives there is usually a big mystery in one season so you don't just follow their story.
Empire has none of that but replace it with a musical i guess, although it's just as funny as DH and sad too.One thing I like about the show, it's like you're watching ATRL on TV.
Music label aspect, promo, the rebellious artist, and the label puppet, the divas. It's entertaining.
Anyways, talking about DH. I decided check the Wiki page and I was quite surprised. I know the show was successful but I didn't know how big it was. The ratings were enormous (25 million average viewers per episode). With a 30 million finale.
It's so weird because I thought a show like that wouldn't have such a large audience but damn. It was on par with American Idol's peak. It's peak was just as big.
