Sam – Oh, Sam. This is not working for me. It looks so jumbled and rushed, and the color palette adds to this perplexing vibe. Your choice of font for “DIRTY LOVE” makes it unreadable, even if it's a Kesha style font. My favorite part of this is the scattered bars using the “Negative” blending mode. This is a technique that I use often, and it looks really good here. Those are basically your saving grace. 7/10
Brunette Ambition – This is an extremely ambitious movie poster. There are parts that slay, and parts that are questionable. I LOVE the filmstrips with different Madonna scenes. The color palette is perfect. The roses are fantastic, and I love the QR code/Snapchat/record label symbols. Your attention to detail is, overall, superb. On the other hand, I am not a fan of the main Madonna picture you chose. I also am unsure about the use of fonts, especially the serif font in the bottom section. I think that looks a bit amateur. 9/10
ririfan21 – Definitely an improvement from the last challenge. I really like the lime green and neon pink combination. The overall composition of the poster is done well, and it gives me a really good movie poster vibe. However, there seems to be a problem with some low quality images. All four images of Nicki are too LQ for such a large document. I also really don’t like when fonts are squished as much as they are for “Starring Nicki Minaj” and “08.10.15”. You have to maintain proper proportions in text. 6.5/10
Bayonsay – This is really, really well done. The filters you used are perfect. For me, the jury is out on your font choice. I think it works really well in the background (the white text), but I am unsure about the red title/artist name. I also wish you made the release date one day later, for my birthday! Haha. Stellar, overall. 9.5/10
Dancehall – This is essentially flawless, except for a few questionable cutting zones. Your best entry this season. 9.75/10
Felixdawson – I love and hate your color palette here. It creates an AMAZING atmosphere that works so well for Lana’s personality. It’s very captivating. However, from a practical side, it makes details on the poster hard to read/differentiate. So, I am torn. I like the blurred effects you utilized, but be careful not to go overboard. I think the overlaid dots are done well. Overall, this is another solid entry. 8.5/10
HausofLuke – This is the best submission I’ve seen from you in two seasons. It is simple, but the composition works really well. What I love about this is that you turned images that might be handicaps to work with, and made them into positives that worked FOR YOU. That ingenuity is what makes a great designer. The image proportions all look pretty good, and I love the triptych on the top. You had a great color palette too. I’m impressed. 8/10
skwonderfactory – This is your best entry so far! I actually really like the vibe you were going for. You used a decent selection of fonts. My favorite is the “Wildest Dreams” font, and my least favorite is the “Say you’ll remember me…” font. The color palette is attractive and works for the song. The major detraction here is the scattered pixie dust/stars. I think if you had maybe done that in a different place, maybe lower in the black section, it would have been better. Be sure to never cover up the face of the person you are working with in a design, unless absolutely necessary. 6.5/10

Overall a very good entry except the sloppy cutting around her hair. It's really obvious too.

Cool colors and effects.
The name of the song is VERY hard to read tho. At first I didn't find the word 'dirty'. I thought it was just 'Love' until I suddenly noticed it.

Love it. Can't really say anything bad about the photoshopping.
One thing tho. I don't really like that it kinda looks like a single cover. Like you took the single cover and made it into a poster. I doesn't really have anything to do with the video.

Good idea and vision.
Some tips:
1. Make better font choices. Watch tutorials, ask someone (Phoenix or Era are like pros when it comes to fonts)
2. If you add something to the picture, make it look realistic. Make the dots look like real stars for example.
3. Use HQ photos. You'll see a HUGE difference.
I like your mindset. Instead of giving up you try even harder. That's how you really learn how to master photoshop.

Some tips:
1. Use HQ pics
2. You used good fonts but you deformed them and they look weird.
3. If you add stuff, make it look realistic. Those cartoon leafs don't really fit in. You could've easily found better ones.
