They will hit Top5, I think. Ellie will outsell them easily but this album has been on preorder for so long, it will peak on #3 or #4 I suppose.

They should move the release date forward 1 week tbh. They'd have a chance at UK #1, and maybe top 3 in USA (5SOS and Carrie's 2nd weeks). I think they can manage top 5 in the USA though; Charile, Hunter and Tim are top 3 contenders but I don't see Ellie doing much more than them. Also since her lead single is kinda underperforming in the UK, I don't see her album doing that great first week so we could snatch the #1

Ellie will have promo leading up to the album, she has a loyal fanbase and she will release a second song before. She will snatch it in the UK, in the US Little Mix could be pretty head to head with Ellie. But Hunter and Tim will definetely top them there.

I think Ellie will top them in both territories. Her latest US first week was 34,000 and her profile has grown tremendously since then.

If the date sticks, I can see Carrie Underwood, NOW THAT"S WHAT I CALL MUSIC, Tim McGraw, Hunter Hayes, Ellie Goulding and maybe Charlie Pouth topping them.

Moving it a week forward seems less competitive but Carrie, Blake Shelton & maybe 5SOS's second weeks would top them.

Ellie has never been a huge opener though. OMM doesn't look like it'll do more than 25k in pure sales. Streams hardly affect albums because they don't include the 2 biggest streamers; which for Ellie will be LMLYD and OMM. Considering albums sell less than singles, I honestly don't see Ellie doing more than 35k in albums. Promo can only do so much. I think it's going to be a lot closer than we think coz I'd expect about 30k for LM.

I think she will open with about 50k in the UK as sales will clim again in November. In the US she may do a bit more, I expect like 62k.

Double what Cheryl did with 2 #1 singles? Doubt it. Only 2 females did more than 50k (iirc) last year and those were Sam Bailey and Taylor Swift. Even Ella who was predicted to do 120k+ didn't even snatch 50k.

I highly doubt it'll be their biggest seller. It might outsell Salute in the USA but sales are so bad I doubt it'll outdo DNA.

I think it's "Lightning". I remember someone (I think you?) posted an interview where they confirmed that there was a "little sister" to 'DNA' on this album. They also said it was in consideration to be the next single.

Side Note: Do y'all think "Clued Up" is the song that the wrote when they thought they were done?

Yeah, a press release confirmed that Lightning is the DNA sequel. It might have been "Weird People" since it was played alongside LMLY when they did they were interviewed by Beat Magazine.

"I Won't" is the song about when they were questioning their status. It's one of the Jess Glynne co-writes.
