Ok; final update on the album: Notget is beyond amazing the production really impressed me; Atom Dance it's ok, Mouth Mantra it's so and so; Quicksand is not ok, love the vocals tho.
Okay, so these songs are more than likely demos right? The production/mixing/vocal takes are a tad sloppy.
The general consensus on the official forum, before they deleted anything mentioning the leak () was that they were unmastered/unmixed but likely the finished songs. I think in higher quality it would sound a lot more finished, tbh.

Ah, good! I was worried the leak was going to be the final mix since it seems... unfinished. Though tbh, I expected more from Arca on the production side of things.

They've removed everyone's ability to DM and there are permabans on sight if anyone reposts anything.
This is what I expected tbh. I feel the 320kps will do it justice, the subtle bass and depths haven't really been served well by the leak bitrate.
It's not as good as Biophilia imho. Quicksand is lovely. I was honestly expecting it to be a lot darker (taking the amazing producers into account). The strings are way too annoying and bold, but I've never been a fan of her string works anyways. I'm excited for the HQ version though.

I'm not too keen on the first half of Bioph. The album is kind of inconsistent and all, but I'd still place it above her earlier works. :^) Oy and there's no Anthony feature on it.
