Omg the tears with the identity issues
This is too real

The interviewer is very mature (I like when he said that she's just finding out what's wrong with the world) even though Azealia is highly worked up right now. Azealia is only 23 so I'm sure she'll grow up like he said.

This interview was really interesting. I totally agree with Ebro and Rosenberg a lot, in that I wish that Azealia would stay away from social media and put in her feelings into the music. It would give more focus on the music and less on her Twitter.
I felt really terrible when she started talking about black art because, admittedly as I'm white, it's a slightly foreign subject for me as much as I've heard about it or read articles about. I feel like, and correct me if I'm wrong, that she feels like some white artists are trying to capitalize on a culture, rather than care about the art, which frustrates her. And it also frustrates her that these white artists, who she thinks are capitalizing, are successful in their efforts.
If I analyzed it correctly, then I wish that she was able to realize that not all white artists who are in the hip-hop arena come from a place where they care about the money and not the music. I feel that Iggy is of both minds of business and music, but I feel like she's rooted in the music first and foremost. I honestly wish that she wouldn't get worked up over things like that because it's just really sad to watch, but I think I now understand her a lot better. I hope that Azealia and Iggy and even Nicki will be able to coexist because it's not great to see the current female hip-hop artists not all supporting each other

Ebro is right. Azealia NEEDS to put this type of passion about this issue into a MASTERPIECE of a track.
Honestly release it at the top of the year; a solid hip-hop record all about her feelings on black culture and it's current state. It could be very well received due to current events like Eric Garner and the recent marches etc
Have Lana sing the hook to get it more hype and stronger overall, and make it an emotional and profound hip-hop classic to be used everywhere. She really has it in her, I know it.

I honestly always liked how cordial and professional Iggy is in response to Azealia, but after watching this, I hate Iggy, who doesn't understand why she is making black people mad. Everything about Iggy is poised for business and success, maximum reach, maximum saturation. She's a great business woman. It's a complete capitalization of black art. It's taking something so precious, removing all meaning and history, and smearing frosting all over it so white teenagers can eat it up. Azealia is passionate not only about music, but about the art, the history of the music her people created, and about the hardships they went through and how rap music and poetry were utilized to help cope. Azealia can feel this in her every bone when she makes music. This is why she acts out of the line others, Iggy especially, do not want her to cross. Iggy would never cry over rap music or hip-hop, or history of the music. She came here to make it big.
Azealia is the real deal. BWET solidly pushes rap and hip-hop forward, while honoring and respecting it's present and past. We have something so good right in front of us, essentially putting her entire existence and history into her music. She is real, and you're not going to see her post some stupid Twitter story about staying positive and doing good deeds when black people are getting killed and humiliated by a society that is horribly unaware of the effects of hundreds of years of racial injustice.

I will say this, I get Azealia's points. I don't always agree with what she says but her passion and how strong she feels about this is so commendable and the girl is so smart and so intellectual, I wish she didnt go off like she did on Twitter cuz then I honestly would pay attention to her points more cuz she does come off angry
I'm tired of people making Iggy the problem when the problem is def bigger than Iggy and I honestly don't think it's Iggy's fault but I get the anger from Azealia but a part of it seems to come from a bitter place that the white girl is making it better than Azealia but like I said, after this interview I definitely love Azealia Banks because she has no filter and wears her heart on her sleeve like myself
I'll just leave it where I agree and disagree with Azealia but this interview definitely made me love her personality, she's a passionate person and I respect it so much now all she needs to do is delete her Twitter lmao

When the interviewer started to talk about how all of these people are numb and the people who feel and give a **** and speak out are called "crazy" it gave me chills. I just want to have like a three hour conversation with Azealia after this like woah
