Agreed---this is way better than Overexposed. Not a huge fan of Maps but the rest of the album has a neat vibe. Certainly not better than SAJ or IWBSBL but definitely better sonically than Overexposed other than a couple of misses.
Wait "In Your Pocket" is a bit cute. Shellback is so good. But Adam sounds like he has a cold. And why are some of these songs so threatening-sounding.
"My Heart Is Open" is so embarrassing omg. Gwen and Adam their vocals are just too goofy to try and pull of this "Stay"/"Say Something" tea. It just isn't working for them error error error.
My Heart Is Open and Leaving California are literally my only favorites. Maps and Lost Stars too. And maybe Sugar. But that's the only five tracks I use, which is ashame because I really wanted to like this album
Great Username did you like Feelings? Easily one of the highlights for me.
It's okay, and I could see it growing. The verses are a cute bop. The strained vocal on the chorus is a bit much. Far better than most of the trash on this album though. Shellback is the only one who brought anything, other than "Maps".

I was excited for this album because I really liked Maps, Animals and It Was Always You (cause they are radio-friendly but not super generic like the singles from Overexposed)
I'm a bit disappointed. Still, I can use Leaving California, In Your Pocket, My Heart Is Open and Shoot Love.
