OMG! Yes umbrella as expected was #1. i mean another award for rihannas umbrella which is one of the best songs in the last decade. it got nominated for the grammys, was name EW best song of the year, the #3 song at rolling stone, and not to forget the #2 most critically acclamein song of 07! Not to forget the biggest song in US last year and the huge monster hit worlwide. The most wacthed video on youtube history even though it was removed, and winner of best mtv video of the year. I mean it was a no brainer. People need to stop taking umbrella down i mean in the past few years we got promiscous(as most popular song of 06) but now isnt that memorable, unlike umbrella which will be remember in years to come. I mean it was a grounbreaking song that although it got over played deserved it because every1 wanted to listen to it. I mean people are still downloading it on Itunes as its like #70, even after a year of being released. I mean common this site ITS FILLED WITH BRITNEY SPEARS AFFICIONADOS AND OBCESSIVE FANS!!! Which is why theres so much hate on umbrella by their part but even fans have to agree that gimme more is generic at best, repetitive, and even though i have it on my ipod it gets boring really quick. And oh yeah theres nothing grounbreaking about it and a song that will quickly dissapear, Oh wait it already did, While umbrella even a year old still grabs the spotlight and a song that takes a future approach at how music should be! It was a daring song that became a huge sucess! UMBRELLA BEST SONG EVER!!!

Im only complaining cause they hating on umbrella! If umbrella had been #2 which it wasn't.WOOT!, I would had hated on gimme more. but if ur hating on umbrella im gonna hate on how crappy gimme more is!

Lil mr obcessive by the way i hate your picture. We belong together is one of my fav. songs so i was happy and excited to hear mariahs new song and when i did i couldnt be any more saddened or dissapointed. I used to love mariah and touch my body made me stop liking her. Fortunately today i decided to put that song really loud on the radio and LOVED IT! I officialy love touch my body and im back to loving the diva of all DIVAS! That song is so cacthy, i loveee the chorus, and its just too awesome. i cant believe i i used to hate it but im glad repeated listenings made me fiknally fall in love with mariahs new song. Im officially in her bandwagon again and cant wait for her next one. and oh yeah i added it today to my ipod and have heard it about 20 just today! HAHAHA! Becoming abit obcessive with it already, abit too late but better now than never!

You know my favorite part about the top 50? Only a MAXIMUM of two songs (and probably exactly that) had more votes for #1 song of the year than Sober: Gimme More and Umbrella. Kelly=AWESOME!
Songs I think deserved to be in the top 50 (22 in all), with their peaks just because i was keeping track:

I am so glad I just found out about this thread since it just wrapped up this week and I didn’t have to be in suspense.
Home does suck. Ha at Bleeding Love not being able to chart next year.
