106 & PARK
Host: We are back, Monday morning here in New York, make some noise!
*Audience Responds*
Host: Our guest today is one of the hottest, baddest, bitchiest, fiercest women in the game today. Miley Cyrus!
*Miley Walks In; Audience Applauds*
*Miley Kisses Host Cheek to Cheek*
Host: Hey Miley!
Miley: Thank the Lord I am back in New York right now.
*Cheering*
Miley: Right under Miami, New York City has to be my second favorite city in the world. I mean you guys are amazing!
Host: Why not first?
Miley: The only difference is really the beach. I mean… we got a beach of concrete and skyscraper here, that’s for sure.
*Laughter*
Host: So you came on here last year when your album was out and you’re here again, pleasure to have you again.
Miley: The pleasure’s mine.
Host: So tell me, what’s been happening all this time? You’ve been so MIA, we missed you.
Miley: I missed you too! And not that much has happened actually, I just took the time to chill and really just kinda do my thing over these past months. I did start the work for my next album back then, lots of exciting concepts and ideas we have so I’m excited to jump into that. But yeah, I’ve just been on the side, waiting, doing whatever really.
Host: And what can you tell us about your next album?
Miley: I’m aiming for it to be like, 100x times better than this album.
*Applause*
Miley: I mean I love ‘My Truth’ and I think it’s a great album… but by the time I start my next era y’all wouldn’t have had new music for like a year… so I wanna make sure the tracks I lay down are worth the wait.
Host: Who are you working with?
Miley: Like I told my fans, I’m working with Pharrell Williams, Diplo and Mike WiLL Made-It. We’re not sure if we’re getting will.i.am on board just yet, ‘cause like continuing an era and making music for a new one at the same time is as tiring and as stressful as hell.
Host: Have you got in the studio yet?
Miley: No, but I’m planning on it. I actually want to record while I’m on tour, so I’ll be passed out on my bed every night after all the **** I do in the day.
Host: So why did you decide to continue this era?
Miley: The truth is, I love it too much to let it go. I think there’s so many things that y’all haven’t seen yet… so many things I was planning on doing, and it got cut short. I mean we always knew I was gonna be back, doing this, but I mean, how and when and where kinda shifted almost every day in a way. But I decided to continue this era because the music videos I planned, the tour, the performances, the interviews, the everything — it ain’t done, until it’s done. You know what I’m saying? I mean, I just don’t feel like moving on to the next era without finishing this one. And trust me, all of those months I’ve been gone were used wisely for this comeback.
Host: Damn! Well you sound like one of the busiest people out there right now. What’s it like doing all the work now, are you used to it?
Miley: I mean, I try not to kill myself while doing my job, but it’s a bit hard when I’m so eager to just do so many things all at once, but I think I should just keep some gas in the tank for the tour, because rehearsals run again late this week and it’s really going to be one hell of a show. But right now I’m doing so many things that aren’t exactly like the norm of promoting, so that’s nice.
Host: What do you mean by the norm?
Miley: Well I have lots of typical promo, but I’m running my ass all over the place to perform album tracks. This time around, I wanna really sell albums. I mean, I know I can sell singles and “On the Radio” could debut at like #5 and I wouldn’t really a ****. I mean, I’d want a Top Five debut but as long as it peaks in the Top Three which’ll be some other week I’m okay with it. But I want to get the chance and really show people what this album is made of. I think it’s great people still bop to “Bitch Like That”, but there’s lots they’re missing out on.
Host: And you’re actually going to perform an album track for us today!
Miley: Yes I am, I’m going to be performing one of my most Urban songs ever!
Host: Hang right here, we got Miley Cyrus performing next!
*Commercial Break*
Host: Her album is out now… again actually on iTunes, and is discounted for $7.99 on Amazon and Google Play for y’all broke hoes. Here to perform “Turnt Up” off her album ‘My Truth’, please welcome my girl Miley Cyrus!
The music started pumping as Miley sat on a chair with two other dancers in chairs. They all had their backs to the audience and cameras, and as soon as Miley began to sing her head was on a profile looking to the right, with one girl following three seconds later. They all got out of their chairs and performed some simple choreography as Miley rapped simply, coming off like a natural. She pointed to the crowd in the pre-chorus spun around and got in her seat. The chorus was on playback as Miley jerked herself left and right with the dancers. They all flashed different poses on the chair every three seconds, with their hands, head, and legs moving in different, sensual and fierce positions. They all got out of their chair and placed themselves with their backs to the camera again. All three moved their head left ’n right, then began to get sensual on the chair, as if they were giving a lap dance to the chair. They swayed their bodies up and down, smiling and having a good time. The second chorus hit and some glitter starting drizzling down from the ceiling. “Now, that’s more like it!” The chairs got rid of and the three dropped to the floor, getting on their knees and performing some more basic, but well-executed and entertaining choreography. The bridge hit and the two dancers slapped money and made it rain all over the stage on Miley, as she lay down singing the bridge, laughing a little in between. A dancer pulled her up where she went into the crowd, grinding on some people and popping some ***** with some girls to the final chorus. Some confetti rained all over the studio now, as Miley and her two dancers made a fierce pose, all connected to finish the song.
*Applause*
Host: That was stunning! C’mon guys, give it up some more!
*Applause*
Host: Alright, well my girl Miley’s right here.
Miley: Hi.
Host: Any final words?
Miley: Yeah, I’ll be at Garden State Plaza at 2PM today for my album signing and some sining, so if y’all wanna head on down there you can.
Host: And don’t forget to purchase the album!
Miley: Yes, the album!
Host: Alright, ‘My Truth’, out now, we’ll be back with more on 106 & Park

Taylor Swift was at the Vanity Fair Oscar party to not only socialize but to also talk about her album with the magazine and a few other outlets that happened to be there talking to actors and artists. Taylor talked to Vanity Fair about her upcoming album and is expected to be on the cover of their magazine next month. Read an excerpt of Taylor's interview in the following:

We're here with the gorgeous Taylor Swift who is wearing an amazing dress. What are you wearing?
No idea but you can check Fashion Police tomorrow and find out.
Well you look amazing.
Thank you.
Anyways you're here to just hang out and we hear that you even have a few films coming up is that right?
I do. I'm doing a few guest starring episodes on some really cool shows. And I have two films coming up. Which is exciting.
Can you give us any details about it?
I did The Giver which was an amazing experience. And the other is still in the last stages of production.
The same can be said about your upcoming album right?
No, it's actually finished. We're just mixing and adding some finishing touches. It's definitely on it's way to being produced physically and then we'll ship them to stores.
Talk to us about your new little buzz single?
It's sort of just to test the waters. You know see what response we get and I'm proud of the response thus far.
The meaning behind the song is very deep. Did you feel a bit vulnerable releasing it?
I did. I've never really been put in that kind of situation before and you know you never know how someone is going to react to a song like that (Loving The Wrong Way). So yeah I did feel a bit nervous and vulnerabnle releasing the song.
Let's talk about the lead single. We hear it's called 'Death of Me'. Can you confirm or deny that?
It amazes me how people find that out but yeah it is called that. It's a really different song for me. It's a whole different genre than Loving The Wrong Way too. I think people will really dig it. Especially if you really liked I Knew You Were Trouble.
Well thank you so much for joining us Taylor.
No problem I can't wait to see you at the photoshoot next week!

Taylor Swift was on Capital FM this morning to talk about her new single 'Loving The Wrong Way' which the DJs played prior and again during the interview. Swift talked about her album, her recent success, and even expressed some interesting viewpoints on how she went about writing this past record. Taylor then announced that she would be apart of the Capital FM Spring Time Ball which takes place at the end of March.
Taylor Swift is in the studio. Say hey Taylor!
Hello everyone!
It's so lovely to have you here. So let's talk about this new single we played about fifteen minutes earlier. It's absoutely gorgeous by the way.
Thank you for saying that. I'm really glad you guys are playing it and loving it too.
It's quite contrastive to what you've ever did before. Is there a reason why you never went this to deep into something before?
I've never been through something as deep as what inspired the song. If I had gone through that years ago I have no idea if I would ever write about it. I mean I would but I don't think those songs would have made it off my computer.
And why not?
I cared too much about what the world would think. And with this album, I don't really care what people who judge me have to say. They aren't buying my records. They're not doing anything but supporting boybands who will fade within the next five years or either sitting behind their computer screen thinking they have some kind of input in my life. People who respect me as an artist and listen to my music are the only people who I really do this for. That's it.
Talk to us a bit about the album. We hear you have some really big collaborations on it.
I have I think two collaborations on it. I didn't want to push it with collaborations. I think two's a good number. There was originally three but something kind of came up so that unfortunately didn't happen.
Talk to me about the inspiration of the album. Not who inspired it but what inspired you to make the sound you did.
My own taste kind of inspired me. I listen to every genre and I would think about making a song like that and see if it you work. So I got in with so many differnet producers and just did it. It was a very natural and fluid process with making this album.
And we understand you're taking part in the Capital FM Spring Time Ball concert?
I am and I can't wait to see everyone there.

She's coming back with vengeance her album went only gold because of the end of the game. But this time around she's playing no game. Music is her priority.

Taylor Swift was live at the Royal Albert Hall in London England as a part of a Children In Need chairty concert hosted by Gary Barlow. With a line up that included Leona Lewis, Bastille, Ed Sheeran and more, Swift performed three songs for the event, including her latest single 'Loving The Wrong Way'. All donations went to charity as well as the money Swift donated to the cause. The songs included in Swift's set were 'Eyes Open', a sountrack single from The Hunger Games, 'Long Live' from her third studio album Speak Now' and her latest promo single 'Loving The Wrong Way' which is currently sitting pretty at the top spot on iTunes UK. Swift wore a cute outfit and sounded flawless with her vocal delivery.

Vanessa Hudgens, Speaks Only Music
It's been reported today on the Hot Topics of the Wendy Williams Show, that Vanessa Hudgens has banned all the reporter from asking personal questions between Justin Bieber and her, she'll be talking only music. Vanessa confirmed it on her twitter saying: there is a time to talk private stuff, but now it's time to be professional.
Wendy then joked and said: hopefully when she'll be on our couch, it will be time to be personal.

Taylor Swift was live on TRL where she talked about her single, the odd video sneak peek of it, and lastly about her album. Swift also performed her latest single (which is a promotional one) 'Loving The Wrong Way', really opening up about the song. She also talked about future plans like if she was going to tour with this album or not. Swift was bubbly and charming on the show as she captivated the audience with her presence.
Lets talk about 'Loving The Wrong Way'. Explain the direction of the song, how you initially began the song, or something along those lines.
I wrote the song like I did any other song. I grabbed my guitar I wrote the first verse on it. Moved it to the piano to find it worked much better on the piano than guitar. Called up my friend Spence and we got in the studio and recorded it. The only really hard part about I began the song was debating with myself if I should hold anything back with the song. I've never really held anything that back before. You know I'm sure you can tell that with songs like 'Dear John' and 'All Too Well', but I've never really went that in depth with my thoughts and what I was feeling when I was there at the moment. I mean I wrote the song three months ago. So the feelings are still lingering and I always get a little emotional when performing the song. And the direction of the song is kind of dramatic with some hip-hop vibes and that happened to be one of the guy's favorite sounds in music so.
Talk about the sneak peek of the video for Loving The Wrong Way
I can't reveal too much. Except that it's something entirely different than I've ever done before. I hate doing things I've already done before. I released a that very downward spiral relationship video with I Knew You Were Trouble. But with this video, I kind of did something more enigmatic than I've ever did before. So yeah, you can really expect something different than what I've one before.
About the album, tell us some background information about it, and maybe if there's a tour in works?
Let's go for the background first, eh? I spent about four months recording this album. The three months prior were forth for an entirely different album than this one. I'd gotten in the studio, starting doing my thing, writing blah blah. I recorded some good songs but they all sounded like tracks that would've fit on All At Once and I hated that so much. I was so pissed when I reflected on them and was like "I've done this all before." Luckily, I got reinspired as the inspiration of this record walked into my life and kind of changed everything. The album is definitely more intense than RED and way more paralyzing as well. And it wouldn't be a Taylor Swift album without a tour would it?

Taylor Swift live on The Graham Norton Show tonight where she performed her latest and current release, 'Loving The Wrong Way', a promotional single from her upcoming album which is expected to be released a in a few weeks times we're hearing. Swift talked about the album to Graham, saying, "It's perhaps what may be I think the peak of artistic expression for me. I have so much coming up that I'm really excited for. I'm just ready to let this album out of my hands and into everyone else's. I want them to hear what I've been working on because it's definitely something I'm very proud of.". Swift went on to talk about the single, saying, "The song is sort of sad but has a glimpse of hope to it. You know you're in love with someone who's in love with not only you but someone else. Though you know you should walk away, you keep staying. You keep staying because you really care about this person. You're becoming greedy, upset, and confused, just because this person can't make up their mind. When you're in love, you don't think about anyone but that person. I wrote the song because I knew the way we were loving was wrong. I should've been thinking about was good for me. Not my desires and wants." Swift then proceeded to perform the song, wearing a white dress, clutching a red microphone in hand as she crooned the synth-hop beat with ease, sounding flawless as eerie blueish-blackish light flashed behind her with the beats on the song. Swift got a great response from the audience and twitter, increasing sales by 15% only an hour after.

Phoebe performs on Big Morning Buzz Live
Phoebe Tonkin just appeared on Big Morning Buzz Live, where the singer and actress performed her new single, Midsummer Days. Phoebe looked really beautiful, she was wearing a simple red dress, which showed off her amazing figure. Her hair was longer than ever, she was probably wearing some kind of extensions, but her hair looked fabulous and really good. Her make-up was super light, Phoebe was wearing a bit of mascara, some blush and eyeliner, and that's it. Overall, the girl looked really good, and you just can't find any kind of bad word to say about her beautiful outfit and look. On the show, Phoebe performed along with her live band, and she did a great job with the performance. The performance was super simple and there wasn't much going on during the performance, because basically, Phoebe just performed infront of a microphone stand, pouring her heart out and trying to do her best. And she did her best. Her voice sounded really soft but at the same time it was powerful, it sounded really good, and her liveband, which was playing behind her, did a good job as well.

Midsummer Days behind the scenes, audio and teaser available on VEVO
Earlier today, without any kind of warning, VEVO uploaded three new videos onto Phoebe's VEVO channel: Midsummer Days audio video, Midsummer Days video behind the scenes footage, and really amazing Midsummer Days video teaser. These three new videos that got uploaded recently received a lot of attention, as almost every single celebrity gossip website shared those videos, also praising the fresh and new Midsummer Days video teaser. In the first scene of behind the scenes video, Phoebe is showed juming into the lake with three other friends with clothes and everything that they had with themselves, and it is showed how camera films as Phoebe is swimming in the water, smiling and miming to the Midsummer Days song, which is played during the video shoot. The lake shoots seems to be very natural and very good looking, and it looks like they video will be really art-sy, because of all those nature shoots and everything. During the second part of behind the scenes video, Phoebe is showed how she steals the car from her neighbour by tricking him, and she just drives away, searching for adventures and fun. The third scene shows how Phoebe and her friends are travelling around places, seeing the mountains and everything that you can possibly see without a huge budget during your summer vacation. In the end of behind the scenes video, Phoebe talks about the upcoming Midsummer Days music video, and says that she is super excited for everyone to see it. In the short video teaser, it is showed how Phoebe is swimming in the lake, catching her breath and just looking around. In the end of the teaser, there is a date, which confirms the video release date: March 6th.
