Its cool to hate Miley now. I like the video but it really doesn't match the song.
It does match the song, but I'm not going to explain that here because I've explained this dozens of times now. It still doesn't take away from my question.
What was the need of licking the hammer? She is trying too hard I think. Overall, it's not a bad video and her body doesn't look that bad. The song is really awesome though.
The nudity isn't what's wrong about the video. It actually fits in with the whole wall breaking concept. Minimalist and taking somebody for what they are underneath. It's got a solid concept. It just needs something more going on in the video. Nothing crazy or anything, but maybe more of a plot and less ball=riding, if you will.
I might love Wrecking Ball more than We Can't Stop, the video of course.
The closeups and how vulnerable Miley is, is like perfect fitting with the song and I like that she's swinging naked on the wrecking ball - shows her vulnerability.
Plenty of our faves have been naked in their videos just for the hell of it, y'all need to stop chastizing Miley cause she did it and the cool thing is to 'hate Miley' now. Can't wait until you all love 'Bangerz'.
Honestly I don't mind nudity and the expression was she was baring herself, but the execution did nothing for me. The tacky hammer licking, trynna be sexy posing turned me off. Great song but it deserved a way better video
The hammer licking needs to go. And while I'm not offended by the nudity, I don't think it was necessary.
I'm kind of irritated that she tried to turn such an emotional song into something sexual and controversial. I think that the song would've done just fine/even better had she just deliver a simple, emotional video.
Once again, 4 minute video yet 5 sec lick of hammer 'ruins' it???? Ridiculous.
She doesnt want to be safe. She wants to raise hell. Like whats so hard to figure out. Of course she could have made it tame, but this era she's being provacative, and ballsy, and rebellious, and just dgif. The girl is set for life and she wants to be wild. And I love it, and by the way her songs are selling, the public is loving it too.
