I'm kind of disappointed in the full version after hearing the snippet many times. There are a bunch of parts I really like but there are also a lot of things that just seem... off? If that makes any sense.

Yes, there is a hint of over-production with the vocals, but it's nothing major. There are NO pitch changes Mariah's vocals may be inconsistent, but recently EVERY show she has done has been mostly live and she hit the notes very well.
Y'all are underestimating her too much She can still hit the notes, and there's no need for her to use a computer to raise the keys of the notes.

late 2010-11 was a great era for Mimi!!
Remember her Christmas Special?
I luv yu guys..but ya'll trippin tonight
Would you like to tell me which notes she hasn't hit in years?
There is no pitch shift you two
I oughta scalp both of you and take your Lamb Cards!
There's lot of middle chest going in this song, like C5. C#5, and a couple of E5's and so on. Her middle range has improved a lot, compared to like 8 years ago during the "Adventures of Mimi Tour" when she could only belt out high chest notes, but not strong mid chest belts. lol and in 08 she was struggling like a B^tch vocally.
She's just that good guys( Australia tour footage anybody . )If the Lambs don't have faith in her, then others will follow suit and start doubting too

!!!! I mean the over production does make it seem that way but there is no need for pitch correction because she has hit these notes live recently. And her mid range is perfectly fine and she has no trouble with that so I mean again IDK why people think that.

I'm very aware not to underestimate Mariah, but at the same time I'm not going to ignore what's going through both of my ears. A lot of the more complex runs in the verses, the "oh oh oh's" at the end of the song in particular? The effect is very mechanical.
But I want it known that I really like the song, and that it is the freshest thing she's served in years. However, her vocal engineer needs to step it up because their work is very sloppy.

Did not expect it to be like this at all!
I like it so much, except for the first verse. Why does she sound so sick in the first verse?
The raising last chorus is amazing!

Just because you happen to see or hear something you didn't like doesn't mean you aren't a real fan.

But you do plan to purchase the song when it officially comes out on iTunes, right?

Yes it does. All you ****** that hate on Triumphant for no reason are FAKE fans.
Watch Mariah perform the Triumphant (Vintage Throwback Mix) on the live show of Idol, hopefully hitting all the right notes, and then the song starts climbing the charts, becoming her biggest hit since Obsessed.
Back on topic, this needs to be promoted everywhere. This cannot afford to flop.

Only an adds date for AC has been announced. They're waiting on audience and radio reception I'm guessing.

Not happier than me though.
Everyone is gonna be in for it when the song starts climbing around the Idol finale and becomes Mariah's third song of the year decade with Almost Home sitting at #2.
