Aww. I really do truly believe that Paula softened Simon up with all those
years on American Idol. Because you know Simon would have went IN
on that Prince-wannabe in the olden days of American Idol.

Idol is more of a straight singing contest. X-Factor is more performance based. So it's really not surprising when you put it that way. They're searching for the full package. Not that I think he is anything special.
