Yeah that's my thot too tbh. I have no idea how this could do well unless she performs on a big tv show like the VMA's and has a payola but we both know Scooter already spent all his coins on Tori and did not get a dime back from his massive investments in her so now he will have to resort to milking as much coins as he can get from CL to further promo Tori later on since he is so adamant that she can make it.

It's a great song! but i just do not feel like it is strong enough to do well and grow naturally on it's own ...so the only way it can do well is if Scooter provides promo for our sis CL..however we know he won't. He postponed CL's entire career for over 9 months after the release of Hello Bitches to promo Tori which ended up failing! So now he is too broke to try and push our girl CL!

2NE1 is indeed one of the biggest selling girl groups but in Korea. Their international fan base isn't even that big. None of their songs has ever gone top 100 on US iTunes (the only Korean groups that have charted high there are BTS, BigBang, EXO and surprisingly enough, BLACKPINK) so again, why would a solo CL song smash right out of the gate? It's just not realistic.

With a market as big as the US it takes time to build a fanbase and find the right song. If she releases a few more songs after this that's perfectly fine bc these things take time, especially for someone like CL. You'd think some of you would be more understanding about stuff like this.
