The European leg doesn't start for another 6 and a half months. Why would she announce it any earlier. That would be too long.

We don't do seats on the floors in Europe. It's practically impossible to find a concert doing that on this side of the Atlantic.

Standing is important to get the experience/life from a dynamic crowd. Sitting makes it dead like watching/listening to the preacher, teacher, boss,...

Wow I didn't know that.
I know here (UK) they put down seats sometimes (usually for artists with younger fanbases).
Everyone stands up anyway when the artist comes on so it doesn't make much of a difference.

Anyway I just checked for the UK dates on Live Nation and

Seated: Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult 18+
Standing: 16+

Guessing it's a standing floor then, that's better for me cause I can't afford decent seats at the moment.
Hopefully I don't have any exams that day so I can take the day off
I've never queued for a concert before so i'm kinda excited.

Younger than Katy fans? I have been to UK shows in multiple cities. Standing floors can have age restrictions when large amounts of young fans is expected.

They do it for old fans too and for shows that won't sell as well.
I guess they're expecting young fans for Ari since the age restriction is 16+ (it's usually 14+ at arenas).
