First of all I said 'These Days'. Second of all, Give It To Me didn't even go top 5, never mind number 1
EDIT: Oh, and if 'Sorry' was released post-2008 then it wouldn't be number 1 either.
You're clearly the one who needs to do some homework

I'll say it again: your best bet for two no ones is releasing two pre album singles. X Factor also usually has 2 performers (see Leona vs BEPs) and depending on new releases doesn't always mean you'll get a number one (again, Leona and BEPs). 2 pre-albums is clearly the better option if you're just looking for a more impressive chart record.

She did NOTHING to promote Celebration in the UK... and the single peaked at #3.
Higher than Halo, Single Ladies, Sweet Dreams and her other 123 singles.

Madonnas last one was in 2008 before Lady Gaga came onto the scene.

I can't see Madonna having many more number 1s. 4 minutes was huge, but let's face it that wasn't because of her. Celebration managed a #3 peak last year, which isn't bad but it didn't last long. The digital era is not favourable to older artists. "All The Lovers" is one of the few Kylie songs I can listen to and is widely regarded as her best effort in years, but it didn't manage to top the chart.

Well obviously, that's her most recent lead single from a studio album.

All those Beyonce songs were post-album singles. Music videos are one of, if not the biggest forms of promotion in the UK. Plus, Beyonce's first single was number 1, something you failed to mention.

Care to take a guess which songs sold more? Celebration will sit at #3 where it belongs and Revolver will sit out of the Top 100 where it belongs.

Nothing can guarantee a #1 single, but an X Factor performance is usually your best bet. The show only had one performer before last year, so the new addition certainly changed the dynamic. Leona was hotly tipped to top the chart that week but lost out in the end, she was ahead in midweeks. I also agree that releasing two singles before the album is the best bet to score two number 1's, unless of course you are Lady GaGa. She can do whatever she wants.

Right but there is little doubt that Madonna will get at least another number one. And I think Kylie could've had a shot at number one if the physical release coincided with digital and the World Cup songs didn't block her.

GH non-promoted single. #3 is more than fine.

Regardless of whether or not she was blocked by the World Cup songs her sales were very underwhelming. I expected her album to be performing better too but it hasn't made the impact that she would have hoped for. I've never been the biggest Kylie fan, and the main reason is because her success is totally exaggerated. Her career has been very hit and miss.

You keep saying Non Promoted, but if you did your research you would know that Music Videos are enough for promotion in the UK.
