Oh god, where do I start. First of all, he wasnt mocking the deaths of the Israelis, he was mocking the hypocrisy of the Israeli claim that the crimes against humanity they do daily in Gaza are justified because "they are protecting their citizens and themselves" while the number of deaths in the Israeli side doesnt make even 1% of the total Palestinians killed by Israel (more than 90% of them are civilians) and with each day 50-100 Palestinians die by the heavy and unjustified shelling on the Palestinians and most of them are civilians we can hardly see how are they "protecting themselves".
I get that that's what he was TRYING to do, but in the process, it came off as being extremely insensitive to the Israeli soldiers + civilians who have died. Maybe he didn't mean to mock the Israeli casualties (although that post was filled with mockery and sarcasm in practically every sentence), but either way, he was still playing around with the idea of those deaths. All I'm trying to say if you can't have a huge scream fest every single time the Palestinian casualty count updates and then make a post like that when talking about casualties.

The missiles aren't causing any damage because Israel developed technology to make sure they don't cause damage. Hamas also got money a few years ago that they could have used for defense. But do you know what they used it for? MORE MISSILES. Saying that the missiles haven't caused that much damage isn't a point in Gaza's favour when Hamas's GOAL is to cause damage and they're only failing because Israel chose to protect its citizens, unlike Hamas.

Anyone who supports a violent solution to the Israeli Palestinian conflict is an idiot. Bloodshed only causes hate and more bloodshed for generations to come. Israel is literally guaranteeing that the next two generations of Palestinians and probably the rest of the Middle East will hate them, and have justification for doing so. When people in this thread have tried to explain that a lot of the pictures that Gaza posts from the conflict really aren't from Gaza (most of them are from Syria), very few people believe that Gaza would be manipulating their side of the conflict like that. Hopefully this can open your eyes.
And before someone yells at me saying that the Palestinian death toll is still really big - I'm not trying to justify the death toll. This post is simply to show people that you're ignorant if you believe Gaza isn't doing manipulation of their own.
As for the London protests, I'm going on vacation to London tomorrow so these protests better not block downtown and make it impossible to do anything there

The user I was responding to was saying that Gaza only fires rockets in response to acts of VIOLENCE from Israel. When I say "nothing", I mean that Gaza continues to fire rockets at Israel even when Israel goes long periods of time without being violent to Gaza.
What I find extremely confusing is people think that a ground invasion to destroy missiles being targeted at civilians is "disproportionate" to firing thousands of missiles intended to kill civilians, yet firing thousands of missiles intended to kill civilians is totally fine and not at all disproportionate to Israel claiming some land.
For the record - I am NOT in support of Israel's occupation of the West Bank. All I'm saying is the disproportionality arguments needs to follow through. If Israel's current response to Palestine is disproportionate, then so is Palestine's missiles in the first place.
Also, I find it very hard to sympathize with Gaza regarding the starvation, water, etc. when they were given millions of dollars back around a decade ago to make Gaza a better place for civilians, and instead of using that money to do that, they used it all to build tunnels and rockets...

All I was trying to say was that Gaza does it AS WELL - which is a point that you didn't refer to AT ALL in your response. It feels like you literally just read the first half of the first sentence of my post, then prepared some response that doesn't make ANY sense as a response to what I was saying.

You are claiming gaza spreads propaganda on the same level as israel which is a lie, Gaza does not pay it's students to spread propaganda online, it doesn't offer grants in exchange to try and fight any criticism online, they don't have hasbara or create manuals on how to answer back anyone calling out Israels actions.

If it helps at ALL, I definitely agree with a lot of the points you've made. And they seem to be well articulated and balanced opinions, which cannot be said of some of the other opinions in this thread.
Honestly, the staggering low level of intellect in some of the responses in this thread is ridiculous. It's alright to take a stand in this issue, but to completely disregard the other side of the argument is just blatant idiocy and stupidity, and its coming from posts where the author clearly thinks they're making some kind of well balanced intellectual argument. This goes for BOTH Pro-Palestinian and Pro-Israel posters.
As for myself, I'd prefer not to make any formal argument because I haven't fully versed myself in the issue. I just hope some of the other posters in this thread make more of an effort to read up on BOTH sides of the conflict.

I haven't read every single one of the OP's posts but from the few I've seen at least they're making some kind of effort to come across as impartial as possible.
You clearly disregarded what they said in their post that you've been responding to. The OP never said that Israel is not spreading propaganda or whether their media influence is comparable. Rather they said (correctly) that both sides have been guilty of utilizing the media's influence to propagate their perspective of the conflict to the rest of world. The OP was saying that to accuse Israel SOLELY of taking advantage of the media coverage is incorrect, when Gaza has been using media outlets as well. You're clearly very invested and passionate about this conflict, but that doesn't give you the excuse to hurl accusations at other members.
