But ISBE is autotuned on purpose, really. Like Cher's album Living Proof. It's for the effect of it, considering it's WAAAYYY more autotuned than the rest of the record. Plus I like how it sounds, all futuristic and robotic; that sort of effect is really cool in moderation like on one or two songs per album.

I never expected high sales, but honestly I think the album deserves more than it's going to get anyway.

The album won't hit Platinum ever because album sales will be dead, and albums will be gone as Physical Singles once she even would get enough catalog sales to hit Platinum.

But yas, I know how you feel. Mariah gon FLOP this album, but she still remains a legend with a string of successful albums and I love them all whether they sold 10 million or 1 million.

Why are people poking fun at this? I'm not a Britney fan or anything, but it was clear this album was going to underperform, especially after the singles did and ESPECIALLY since she's pretty much done nothing to promote it.

It was eventually going to happen and I doubt she really cares. It's one thing when you do hundreds of promo appearances and then open with under 300k (and that's NOT directed towards just Gaga, but to most of the pop girls since all of them opened under with under 300k this year despite heavy promo - Katy, Miley, etc).

It's not Will.I.Am's fault entirely though. like I know we're not going to ignore the commercial smash that was S&S because of how mediocre the album is. Britney wanted a personal album and no other producer would've allowed Britney to have such control and she genuinely seemed to enjoy making this album so at least it was HER album that flopped.

I don't know if Britney had that much control. As executive producer, will.i.am is largely responsible for the material.

In her iHeart Radio interview with Ryan Seacrest, she talked about the songs as if they weren't her own.

Ryan: "Did you feel that way?" (like an alien)
Britney: "I've felt that way before. I've had days like that."
Ryan: "A couple."
Britney: "Yeah, a couple."

Ryan: "How personal is ['Don't Cry'] to you?"
Britney: "It's pretty personal. I can kind of relate to it."

I just found that to be odd, especially if she supposedly co-wrote every song on the album.

I feel like Britney Jean is the album will.i.am would make if he were lill.i.an (a pop girl).

If her team wanted a smash album or chart super successfully without promo, they would NOT have chosen will.i.am so I wanted to know HOW he got to exec produce this??? I feel like he paid to do it. UGH something about him and his music piss me off. This album is sort of tainted for me, knowing his songs pollute all over the album.
