I think the ratings for this season are dropping because this season just seems to be drAAAAAAAAging on. Season 1 was short and sweet, which kept people interested. By this point in season 1, we were already down to like the final 8.
This season wasted like, 8 or 9 weeks on the Auditions/Battle Rounds. It's just too much focus on contestants that don't even end up going anywhere. The focus should have been on those who went into the live rounds to get us invested.

They only spent 4 weeks. It only seems longer because this year's talent sucks. Adam has some of the weakest members and only because he pressed his button after 5 seconds of an audition.
I swear to God if RaeLynn get's saved over Erin Willet..

Such a same for Lindsey, from the sure winner in her first audition she sang 2 not-so-much good and original performances... Tonight she DELIVERED with MP PDG... this was so powerful to me...
