AI is the number of times a song is played and how many people listens to it.
If a song has 100 million AI, it doesn't mean there are 100 million people listening to the song.
Let's say a song is played at 8:00am, then at 3pm, then at 11pm. It was played 3 times, but at 8:00am there are (not real numers) 1 million people listening to it, then at 3pm there are 800k listening to it, then at 11pm there are 600k listening to it. That means that the song gained during that day:
1+0.8+0.6 = 2.4m AI
Obviously songs like SFTTR are played at least 10 times a day, and the radio stations doesn't always have 1 million of people that listens to them XD, so this kind of songs gain more because they are played more times, or the radio station has more listeners.
