Do you guys think they'll release it for PS4 and Xbox One in the future? It would be a shame not too.....
But someone from the PS4 said that they are intending to open up a cloud service which will make games from the PS1 - PS4 playable on the PS4 via stream emulation or some stuff like that.

Sony stated that at first, the catalogue would be limited to a small number of acclaimed PS3 titles.
It was previously confirmed that the PS4 has no native PS3 backwards compatibility, with Gaikai revealing it was developing a cloud service that could offer PS3 games on the new console without the built-in hardware compatibility.
"The technology is so advanced that some day we could easily stream PS1, PS2, PS3 and the PS Mobile games on any device, including the PlayStation 4," Gaikai head Dave Perry said.
Based off of statements made at Sony's PS4 reveal event, it is believed that Sony will be using Gaikai's capabilities to provide access to games from previous PlayStation consoles through Gaikai's cloud streaming capabilities
