“I can't wait to hate you, make you, pain like i do...still can't shake you off...”
Kicking off my top 50 list is Mariah Carey with one of the emotional tracks from her last album Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel, H.A.T.E.U. This song wasn't really one of my favorites from the album but trying to listen to it a couple of times helped me appreciate it especially the lyrics. The song expresses the feeling of hate towards the person you once loved. Mariah showcased a bit of her high notes during the end part and this makes it good. Earlier last year, H.A.T.E.U topped my countdown a couple of times and this why it barely makes it to my top 50 list.
49. Justin Bieber feat. Usher “Somebody To Love (Remix)”
“I just need somebody to love, I don’t need nothing else, I promise girl I swear. I just need somebody to love.”
Justin Bieber appears for the first time inside the top 50 with the remix version for Somebody To Love. This song is one of the good tunes in his album and what better way to make this more a hit is by including Usher in the track. To be honest, it is one catchy song from Bieber, both of them sound good together and the choreography is somehow decent. Justin wasn't that overshadowed by Usher in the music video. Justin Bieber definitely onwed 2010 and you can expect a couple of songs by him in the latter part of the update.
48. Rihanna feat. Jeezy “Hard”
“Never lyin', truth teller that Rihanna reign just won't let up. All black on, blacked out shades, blacked out Maybach”
Rihanna stared the year 2010 by bringing this hit, at some point it was called a hit as it manage to hit the top 10 in the Billboard charts. Hard is one of the attitude songs in the Rated R album which I always enjoy listening. Jeezy adds the rap version in the middle part making this song a bit more aggressive. Rihanna accompanied the song with a sexy video having a military theme on it. This is first of Rihanna's appearance in the top 50, she still has some songs which really hit it big last year, stay tune for that!
