do you seriously think that the taliban which is a terrorist organization is really genuinely willing to talk it over with NATO and settle their differences..... even if they do start the negotiations the Taliban will just use this as a time to rebuild their forces and gain even more power.

Well they are guiding the leaders across the country to negotiate with them...so I don't see why not. And no they won't be regrouping because Canada is also sending in additional troops as well

Well those unfortunate bystanders are supporting NATO being there because if not, the Taliban would be back there
Even if the opinion on the war is going down...it doesnt change the fact NATO is doing their job and doing it well

once public opinion drops it means that nations have to pull out.... if the public no longer supports the war, protests may begin, lack of support for the government will occur, and loss of trust will happen........ public opinion is everything. Look at what happened with the Vietnam War.

The Vietnam war was different though, unnecessary casualties with no goal in sight. This war is another story. And the war isn't even on the top of American's minds right now
