#1 Don't Say Goodbye, Say Goodnight - Binocular
And so I introduce you to my number 1 song of the decade: Don't Say Goodbye, Say Goodnight by Binocular. You may have best known them as the makers of "Deep" and more popularly with the vocalist that goes by the name "Kevin Rudolf" who had recently experienced a breakthrough success with "Let It Rock".
OK.
Let me start with the discovery of this song. It was on my brother's iPod and I stole while he was sleeping , played it all night then suddenly this song shuffled on the player! I immediately fell in love to that song! Not only that it cured my insomnia but it has a mystic feeling of taking you in an unexplored dimension (not sexually, really )! Truly magical.
Some songs depend on the state of mood you are in to fully enjoy it's potential but not with this one. It's the reverse, perhaps. The songs sets you on the mood. Although it's a sad love song with lots of cheesy lines and cheesy attempts of diverting the lyrics into a deeper kind of thought, it still works in heavenly wonders. It's like listening to a crossover speakers between Imogen Heap and um, Imogen Heap and a little bit of Jason Mraz (just for the sake of putting someone here!. )
Take a listen, best!
I got it on autoplay!

#10 Moulin Rouge (2001)
I am a sucker for love stories. I am a sucker for tearjerker films. One of the pioneering reels that moved me is Moulin Rouge. I could not ask anything more from the technical productions to the acting jobs of the lead stars. It's just perfect. But that's not the beef though as to why I super love this movie. It's not Ewan McGregor's cuteness, too. Well, this may sound bad but it's actually the sad endings that I crave for whenever I wanna watch a romantic love story. The after effect of these kind of films is stronger, speaking for myself, than the past proven formula of the traditional stories that ends with a happy ever after. Why Moulin Rouge? It just so happens that Baz Luhrmann, Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor delivered the dying at best!
& #9 Oprah's Auschwitz Special Episode (with guest Elie Wiesel) & Night - Elie Wiesel (Tie) Oprah's most surreal episode yet as she trips down the memory lane of Auschwitz Concentration Camp and Sir Elie Wiesel's memoirs of his survival of the holocaust and it's terrors.

#7 Dan Brown
If there's one person who had me glued right under my sheets and strained my eyes after hours of reading, the bitch who's culpable for such travesty should be Dan Brown. He is such a genius in plotting schemes and conspiracy theories. The mathematical and esoteric influences on his works are amazing. I can only imagine the expanse and the time frame of his research must take! Oh man, I dont care about the formulaic storylines. Just give me my new story! My favorite so far is Angels and Demons. Too bad the movie is not even half of the book's epicness.
#6 V-Cut Spicy Barbecue Flavored Potato Chips
Cheetos who? Ruffles what? Lays? V-Cut PAWNS all of that snacks! They wish they could but no! They could never!
#5 Princess - Jean P. Sassoon
The content of this compelling novel is far from the prevalent Disney's definition of the word Princess.
Princess, a novel that uncovers the true story of a Saudi princess and its Islamic fundamental conservations really baffled me, not only because of its cultural taboos but also how much the actual severity of suppression were pressed against its women. They keep women nothing more than but a subsidiary to men.
Must read.
#4 David Gandy
THE HOTTEST MAN ALIVE!
No explanations needed.
#3 The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho
OK. The book that started the Coelho craze. Just to clear things up: some parts are pretty laughable and most parts mirror the real life. the story revolves around a boy who's in quest of his treasures and how life thrusts him to the edge of following that "principle of favorability" and....
Sorry gurls, you need to read it for yourself. I gave it a 9.5/10 rating.

Amazing! #2 Britney Spears
The most celebrated celebrity of the decade. From the hottest teenage girl on the planet to being the ultimate female phenomenon to the awful trainwreck that she once was and to the triumphant personification of a renewed life and a new beginning.
She may not be the ideal, cliched, stereotyped role model that this society have been endorsing, she, Britney Spears, is closest human archetype we could reflect as an inspiration and the true form of resilience amidst constant public media scrutiny. She is someone who is as authentic as any other ordinary person living through an extraordinary ordeal of daily chaos. The closest and the most real replica living the LIFE. In all sorts of forms, yeah, we all want a piece of her.
We love you, Brit.

#10 American Idiot - Green Day #9 Loose - Nelly Furtado
#8 Speak For Yourself - Imogen Heap
Easily the album that exceeds terrestrial domains of the planet Earth! Meaning: it's not a work of a human being. Fave song: The Moment I Said It When to listen: The aliens are invading the world!
#7 Fallen - Evanescence
The.Best.Rock.Album;Spearheaded.By.A.Female.Deep.T hroater.
Gotta give the great Ben Moody some credit too, you know! Fave song: Tourniquet When to listen: November 1
#6 Hybrid Theory - Linkin Park
One of the most cutting-edge rock album that was spawned inside the decade of the noughties. Linkin Park successfully tickled both rock and pop audiences, exclusively with hip hop infused rock songs, aided by Mike's fast tongue. Fave song: In The End & Points Of Authority When to listen: Mommy wont give you money for the snacks at the school canteen
#5 Vespertine - Bjork
Goddess Bjork's best and most intimate collection so far. This is basically what you get when you put "sex" on the focus, sorrounded by a lot of artistic inputs. Ain't so shabby at all. Fave song: Pagan Poetry & Cocoon When to listen: With your pants pulled down
#4 Escapology - Robbie Williams
Sexy Robbie and his monkey ventured out on something we can all ponder beyond music concerns. Most songs were recorded while our big Robbie is fully naked! Right, that s what you called "something beautiful". Fave song: Something Beautiful & Feel When to listen: After paying the prostitute
#3 Schizophrenic - JC Chasez
One of the craziest albums for the decade! Who knew cutie pie JC is such sex chauvinist?! With wild sex songs like "One Night Stand" and ADIDAS on the repertoire, pretty much sealed the deal of lustful body feasting. Fave song: Something Special & ADIDAS When to listen: Kama Sutra 101: The basic --- missionary position
#2 Blackout - Britney Spears
Whoops! It's Britney, bitch! and the crowd goes wild! -- reactions from gays and party animals within the club whenever that epic opener blasts the speakers. Blackout is one party staple every undercover teenage gatherings must have. Amazingly, the ominous title of the CD became Britney's schedule organizer for a brief while. Fave song: Ooh Ooh Baby & Piece Of Me When to listen: Sniffing pot
#1 In The Zone - Britney Spears
I personally consider this LP as Britney's best studio release so far. It's diverse. Innovative. Undoubtedly, an album that falls out of Britney's bubblegum comfort zone. Eversince then, Britney Spears established herself as sex symbol. Fave song: Touch Of My Hand When to listen: When your boss spreads out his muscular legs under his desk
#0 Make Some Noise - Krystal Meyers
Ive never heard an album that holds a quite amazing coherence with each songs until this one. Its her 3rd album and she's a Christian singer but not the type of in your face preacher. This album does give a youthful insights towards this generation's participation on the social consensus within the borders of religious faith and moral stance. I really like it and suggest you take a listen to it. Sadly, it flopped! Fave song: SOS When to listen:Hieros Gamos
I hate you for having that song on autoplay! I was wondering what was playing, since I usually open many tabs. Darn you!
Still, I can see why it's your #1 and I definitely like it!
By the way, good to see Dan Brown so high on your list! I have yet to read Angels and Demons but I honestly loved reading Da Vinci Code so much that I'd already consider him pretty high on my list.
Hm, I've got Princess on my to-read list... though it'll take me a while to actually get to it, haha. However, I should note, at least the suppression is apparent, and not subtle? Still, it does really suck though.
Love your top 8 except for JC and Robbie... but no hating. I'm just not big on them either. As for Krystal, never really heard of her before... I shall check that out at some point!
