If everything weren't so repetitive. Pop =/= repetition

The choruses are really the only oroblems for me. I feel like every song will be repetitive

Pink and katy are both pop, but their choruses have actual lyrical components to them, not just the title repeated a million times (obviously there are exceptions, but in general....)

Well yeah that's what IMO means...

I agree with the above poster re: repetitiveness, I think. It's an effective tool for getting it stuck in your head, but it's not a pleasant experience. Like I've only listened to OOTW twice maybe. IKYWT is my favorite song of hers, so I was really amped when I heard about the direction she was going in.

Shake It Off (Pop masterpiece tbh) and Out Of The Woods are good pop songs despite their repetitiveness.
