And ahaa, I'm sick of Perfect now & Heartbreak Down is so good!

Save Me San Francisco is miles better than Train's last two singles even if it sounds like that one Kid Rock song.
The Lazy Song Top 10 on Pop. Fifth consecutive by Bruno.

Radio is not boycotting Judas. Thats just some lame theory you made up in the Judas thread. "OMG, the song is having a normal climb to number one! But she's Lady Gaga, regular rules don't apply to her!" Thats what you people sound like. Judas is doing fine.

It has nothing to do with the song climbly slowly, despite what you may believe seeing as you're apparently capable of reading my mind.
However, it has everything to do with what i mentioned in that thread. I drive 8 hours a day in a heavily populated area and none of the pop stations will play the song, and they're the same stations (clear channel) that played BTW every hour on the dot. They'll even have long drawn out conversations about performances/videos regarding the song while it plays low in the background, yet they'll play either an old GaGa song or a song from another artist.
I do realize i might sound delusional, but that's ok. Radio is a corporate buisness and they've made decisions like this in the past. Take this for example

Bruce Springsteen should be very happy. He has the No. 1 album, a possible Grammy for Best Album of the Year, for "Magic," an album full of singles, and a sold-out concert tour.
Alas, there's a hitch: Radio will not play "Magic." In fact, sources tell me that Clear Channel has sent an edict to its classic rock stations not to play tracks from "Magic." But it's OK to play old Springsteen tracks such as "Dancing in the Dark," "Born to Run" and "Born in the USA."
Just no new songs by Springsteen, even though it's likely many radio listeners already own the album and would like to hear it mixed in with the junk offered on radio.
Read more here, second item down...

It's not a coincidnce that the same situation described in Huffington Post regarding Bruce Springsteen is the exact same as the one i described.

So, what exactly is the reason radio is boycotting Judas?

Just because a song comes from a huge artist doesn't mean the song will be played. Many stations are still playing BTW. Maybe your stations aren't playing Judas because they have yet to add the song. It's still extremely new and obviously it's not blowing up like many anticipated, but that hardly warrants the call of boycott. It's sounds like a big excuse if you ask me.

Obviously i can't answer that literally, but i have my sucpicions... If anything it'll likely give credit to my "theory" seeing as most GaGa stans wouldn't like what i'm going to say.
First things first, stations still use Payola, a lot. However, they don't exchange song play for money but rather for concert tickets and other promotional items offered to them by the label. If you notice, whenever a station is giving away tickets for a particular artist they increase the play of their songs almost exponentially (which is why TTWE is "randomly" exploding on radio)...
For BTW to have the massive hourly spins it had it's vitually a gurantee that some exchange was made between clear channel and Interscope. They didn't play the song like that solely because she's GaGa, though some delusional stans may actually believe that.
In any event, something went wrong and they're now boycotting Judas. I'm fine with sounding like an idiot but remember you heard it here first. Either one of two scenarios will play out.
1. JUDAS "sponataneously" explodes on radio. ( Interscope and Clear channel resolve issue)
2. The subsequent BTW singles suffer the same fate. (issue remains unresolved)
Mark my words.

"Judas" is not that radio friendly if you ask me. The lyrics ( ) and production are all over the place, and it's not catchy at all. I can understand why DJs are reluctant to play it. It's a mess.

Hmm. This is interesting and I feel bad for making you look like you don't know what you are talking about, but I still don't believe it. Boycott is huge, it's not like it some everyday thing. After BTW dies down a little more Judas will explode. It's still way to early.
And I think a more logical reason for radio not playing would be it's lyrics. Those are the killers.
