That is exactly the issue. Over 300 million Americans plus millions more who are undocumented too. Those Syrians will be worse off in the US than in Europe. Think about it. The US is not a full fledged welfare state, they'll likely have to sink or swim on their own.

From my knowledge, the problem with a lot of Middle Eastern countries is that Syrians and friends are Christian or a different branch of Islam than Saudi Arabia and friends. Allowing Sunni and Shia populations to mix is dangerous so ME countries such as the UAE prefer to donate money to Lebanon and Jordan then upset the balance. Europe is less accustomed to Islamic conflicts and thus accepts all religions relatively 'openly'.

I'm not being biased by only arguing about the US in this situation. THat is just the war I have chosen to fight. I've read comments made by US members here and on other publications and I think the US should accept migrants if Europe are expected to. To argue for/against Saudi and the ME accepting Refugees and migrants warrants totally different points than the US for the most part and thus both can not be generalized together.

from the outside looking in it seems like these people (and probably all humans in general from today's society) feel a sense of entitlement, like they escape one country and flee to another and expect to automatically be taken care of

i'm not saying these countries shouldn't do their part to help refugees from unstable countries with corrupt governments, but these people don't seem to understand or lack the proper education to see how doing **** like what was described above actually hurts their cause more than anything

u can't just get up into another country under the pretense it's going to be a better and safer life and then start threatening violence, that's not how **** works in industrialized countries

Why exactly are they not refugees? If you're suspicious of the Government of a country who said 2 days ago that Muslims refugees should be rejected from Europe to protect Europe's Christian values then you're a fake refugee? It's not like Europe has a bright, happy history of carting large numbers of "unwanted" people of different religions off into camps together. And I'm supposed to be shocked people are hunger striking to get what they want? It's not exactly a brand new technique of protest. Germany has been aiding as many people as they can, it's not surprising refugees want to go there rather than someplace they're unwanted.

Maybe try reading Western News sources before trying to guess what it is they are reporting. Western media have been treating these people like animals for months, bit weird to try to imply they're these refugees #1 fans.

So I read an interview of a Syrian man who has relatives in Bulgaria that there is actually a conflict through the muslim countries. On the one hand are Syria, Iraq and Iran and on the other - Turkey, Qatar, Kuweit and Saudi Arabia, he also claims that the second group countries are "puppets" of the USA and these countries also support the rebel activism in Syria. That's why they are not taking in any refugees, except Turkey, because it's on the way to Europe.

Also, a one of my father's friends who makes $50k in UAE is currently selling his stuff and readying tickets for himself and his family to Istanbul, planning to get into Germany.

One of his sons is getting asylum + education in Sweden, the other got a MSc scholarship in the US, and the man himself lives a really comfortable life in an affordable part of the country

So they get to Turkey as the first safe country and are placed in refugee camps but after a while decide that Turkey is not what they want, they want a better life in another country. Then they leave Turkey and go illegaly through several countries to get to desired destination. How can they still be treated as refugees then since they left the refugee camps in a country that is not at war?
I mean, they have a right to wish to live in whichever country they think will give them the best life but then they are no longer refugees but economic migrants.

I hope they've changed and sorry if they have. I just remember Hungary being blasted for building a "new iron curtain" and how we're inhumane etc, and showing pictures of babies when 80% of them are healthy 25 year old men with iPhones.

They are not refugees, or if they were, they aren't anymore. You do not go through 10 countries if you are a refugee, Serbia is a safe country, yet they illegally cross the border and then get pissed when we don't allow them to illegally cross another border without registration. They are economical migrants, looking for a better life, by living off German tax payer's money. When Germany finally realizes that they can't keep taking in 1 million/year, or when they send back most of them, they will not be willing to leave, and will cause chaos in the neighbouring countries, including Hungary. They are demanding and will not be willing to act like a European.

The Allahu Akbar screams are very rare though. I think it was near the Serbian border somewhere. They mostly just scream "We Hate Hungary" and "We Love Angela Merkel", "GERMANY GERMANY", "NO FINGER NO FINGER" because they aren't willing to register themselves... (Fingerprints/picture/etc)

Allegedly there is a mess again in Hungarian stations since no more busses will be provided to transport the people to Austria and they also will not allow them to get onto trains.
They have reportedly started to walk again towards Austria.
I also read 3000 people from Austria have volunteered to go get the migrants by their own personal cars.
