The days of a Clay Aiken, Jennifer Hudson, (and on a smaller scale) Katharine McPhee type success without having actually won A.I. are over. As much as I love Jessica, she's not getting promotion and she's nearly forgotten with the new season of A.I. I'm glad we're getting the album but nothing is going to be successful about it, even the single. I really just hate American Idol...
I knew this would flop, it was silly of them to release a dance song when everyone knew her as a ballad girl and it's just been stupid decisions after another since then
So this sold 13,000 copies after being performed in front of 11.65 million people. That means only 0.1% of the audience bought the single.
I hope the album sells well otherwise she'll get dropped so fast which is such a shame because she's talented.
The worst part is that Jimmy on the show acts like he knows what he's talking about when clearly he doesn't when people are flopping from the show under his guidance
The song's ok I guess.If they were gonna go in the generic "big dancey first single" route they should have at least went all out. This is nawt catchy at all. I like the production but the song itself is a bit of a mess tbh.
And generally I don't mind Ne-yo, but for some reason him being on this track just makes it sound even cheesier and more generic to me.

I've never heard of a lead single being released to radio AFTER the album is released. Are they even trying?
