Where is the critical thought? Where is the room for discussion? I agree stans IN GENERAL are too invested in their faves. But you admit to knowing that. So how are you coming to chat and debate when you're on the offensive. If you know stans are sensitive it's probably not best to lead with "EW" or something along those lines. (Not saying you did, but in general, I've already said it but there's a huge difference in "hating" and not liking something objectively).

The're no discussion because they don't know what they're talking about. An evolving signature sound is hard for them to grasp because their favorite artists just go with whatever's popular at the moment. Beyonce on the other hand, has been experimenting with Afropop for a while now. She covered Fela Kuti's Zombie (great track btw) in 2008, then she released End of Time in 2011 and now we have Grown Woman, which hopefully sounds exactly like the live version.
If anyone hears Run the World in this... they're delusional.
