I looked at the detailed tea in Iowa. There is voter apathy from BOTH sides regarding absentee votes. That was Democrats' cushion, absentees and some early voting. The state's been lagging it with voters so far. If numbers are still down overall on Election Day then the state just wasn't that into the election.
Second, Trump's camp was perched in the state 24/7 for 9 months riling people up. Hillary wasn't there as long.
Scary that Iowa was considered safer for Obama than Ohio and now it's the one most likely to flip from the two.
