Doesn't it seem like Taylor's been cutting down the song lengths compared to Speak Now?

Yeah, but I hope that's just for the potential singles. I'd rather her put 3-4 minute potential singles on the album than have to deal with radio edits of 5-6 minute songs. The longer the song, the less chance it has of being a single.
Surely Taylor nation has realized this by now.

I seriously hope there are a good 6-7 country songs on this album, they dont have to be super super country, just along the lines of BA
I hope Holy ground is a country sounding song
State of Grace will be Enchanted 2.0 while Holy Ground is Haunted 2.0

Just read a blog post bashing her and saying she's not a good role model blah blah blah. Judgmental woman who is so up to her own ass and eating all the hype and articles from gossip rags without fact-checking them first. Funny how she said Taylor herself used the role model thing as a marketing campaign. Sure her PR team does play that card. But the girl herself? More like her being smart enough to keep the private things, private and acknowledging that she does have young fans. I can't at today's society expecting everyone to be Kim Kardashian and call them smart & real for being a classless dumb **** or being a full-on Mother Mary. I want to stab the writer silently when she's sleeping now.

So do you think Tay will have the biggest WW debut guys. Mumford and Sons could be major competition with their WW sales this week.

PERFORM AT “THE 46th ANNUAL CMA AWARDS,” THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 1 ON ABC
The star-packed lineup for “The 46th Annual CMA Awards” launches with today’s announcement that Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Kelly Clarkson and Little Big Town are the first group of performers confirmed for “Country Music’s Biggest Night™.” “The 46th Annual CMA Awards,” hosted for the fifth year by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, will air live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 1 (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
Aldean holds the current title for CMA Album of the Year for “My Kinda Party,” and Musical Event of the Year for “Don’t You Wanna Stay” with Clarkson. This year he picked up nominations for Entertainer, Male Vocalist and Single of the Year for “Dirt Road Anthem,” produced by Michael Knox.
There was no place like “Home” for Bentley. He received three nominations for Album of the Year for “Home,” produced by Brett Beavers, Luke Wooten and Jon Randall Stewart; Single of the Year for “Home,” produced by Beavers and Wooten; and Song of the Year for “Home,” written by Bentley, Beavers and Dan Wilson, lead singer of Semisonic.
Clarkson, who shares the current CMA trophy for Musical Event of the Year with Aldean, makes her debut in the Female Vocalist of the Year category this year. Clarkson has a previous nomination for Musical Event of the Year with Reba McEntire for “Because of You” in 2007.
Little Big Town made a splash with “Pontoon” in 2012. The popular group was nominated for Vocal Group of the Year in addition to capturing nominations for Music Video and Single of the Year for “Pontoon,” directed by Declan Whitebloom and produced by Jay Joyce, respectively. Joyce has produced albums by a diverse roster of artists including Audio Adrenaline, Cage the Elephant, Patty Griffin, Emmylou Harris, John Hiatt, The Wallflowers and The Whigs.
Winners of “The 46th Annual CMA Awards” will be determined in a final round of voting by eligible voting members of the Country Music Association. CMA Awards balloting is officiated by the international accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche LLP. The third and final ballot will be emailed to CMA members Thursday, October 4. Voting for the CMA Awards final ballot ends Monday, October 22 (5:00 p.m., CT).

George Strait Announces Final Tour
Country superstar George Strait has announced that he will retire from the road after mounting one final tour. Strait will embark on the Cowboy Rides Away tour that begins in 2013 and runs through 2014 before calling it a touring career.
Strait made the announcement at a press conference at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville on Wednesday afternoon (Sept. 26). “It’s been a hard decision for me to make, but as far as the touring goes, I’ve decided that I’m not going to tour anymore after these next two years,” Strait told assembled reporters.
He hastened to add that he is not retiring. He will still make records, and he still plans to make occasional live appearances with his band at select events. “But as far as structured touring goes, after the last date of 2014 that’s gonna be it for the touring,” he stated.
The veteran entertainer said the tour will let him say goodbye to each city in turn. “This is going to be a very special, emotional tour for me,” he noted. “Everywhere we’re going holds fond memories and I’m looking forward to paying my respects.”
Strait turned 60 earlier this year, and he revealed that helped him come to the decision. “I kinda always had it in the back of my mind, when I turned 60 it might be the time to start thinking about it. I didn’t want to show up sometime for a tour and nobody came,” he said. “It was kind of important to me to pick that time . . . I believe I made the right decision. I hope I did. Only time will tell.”
He added that he reserves the right to change his mind. “In 2016 I might say, ‘What a dummy,’ you know?” he joked. “And if that’s the case, maybe I’ll reconsider, but at this particular time, I’m pretty sure I won’t.”
The 2013 dates of The Cowboy Rides Away tour will go on sale Oct. 12. Martina McBride will open 20 of the 21 shows.
