I definitely have to do that because I have so much stuff on that hard drive that I really don't want to lose. Most of the stuff wasn't backed up. I have CDs of her unreleased stuff but only some. Plus, I have all of the emails with attachments from the past few years whenever I traded that way--so hopefully I can get some back that way. |
Sorry to hear that your files weren't backed up. My hard drive crashed in my latest computer a couple of years ago, which wasn't backed up, and I lost a lot of precious things, like a lot of my puppies pictures
and a lot of tattoo stencils that I was planning on getting were on there too
. Email is a great back up resource. My iphone is on it's way out, so I made sure and sent all my pictures & gifs to my email just in case I lose them when this atrocious phone decides to go out for good.
I legit thought my laptop was broken and went to repair shop to repair it 2 days later but the laptop magically went to life when the repairman tried to start it 
He said I was very lucky I own a Macbook cause if it was a Windows laptop, I would have to buy a new laptop 
So the moral of the story: 1) buy a Macbook (
) or 2) immediately switch off your laptop, remove the back of the laptop, wipe dry the spilled water and let it dry for a few days.
