Yesterday's performance was pretty much the greatest she's put on since Glastonbury. Has there been promo for it though? I haven't seen many ads for it. I want a large audience watching it on Monday. Also I'm glad that those of you who've been in denial can now see what the rest of us have been asking for. THAT last night is the legend we stan for. THAT last night is the Beyonce people come to award shows to watch. I'm happy she lost AOTY, she needed some grounding to bring back that fire into her craft and we see that fire now. I mean even the outfit, hair, make up? Beyonce is back.

I'm sure it's been said already but the upside of her losing AOTY is that there will be a DRIVING force behind her now. As Ledisi played Mahalia in "Selma", her aim was to pretty much recreate or channel Mahalia. She does that but once it was heard in the movie and soundtrack there was really no point in putting it on The Grammy stage. The "scandal" was such a non issue. The song wasn't even gonna be performed. On top of that, Ledisi does not own the song, anyone can sing it. She was just one of many people who covered it.
