I've never been impressed by MaLeo in The Fighter. I think even Adams is better.

Such a great movie. Even if a third of it was a fraud, it was still very well made and took a shite all over Argo (like every other BP nominated movie that year).

I literally can't think of a single thing she did in SLP.

Russell has ruined Lawrence. You can tell she still has innate talent, she was the best part of the American Hustle (For Academy Awards) even when miscast. But he keeps having her be over the top and doesn't do anything to reel her in. She was so subdued and compelling in Winter's Bone.

Argo isn't even some horrendously bad movie, really. It's just ridiculous something so mediocre won BP in an otherwise great line-up. The "It's pro torture!!!!" controversy against ZDT robbing it of a win was pure ****.

@Meowster She is SO stellar in Winter's Bone. To go from that to American Hustle in 3 years is tragic...it's like David O. Russell berated her until she forgot what subtly is (which is probably what actually happened @LilyTomlin).
