She publicly denied that she had made her decision
multiple times. She gave no indication of running. All pre-announcement speculation was made out of thin air, from the fact that she is currently the most prominent modern Democrat on the face of the planet besides Obama (who she will surpass if elected). It was born of the fact that her qualifications, her positions, her experience, and her power are ideal for a candidate and would provide perhaps the most formidable and qualified Democratic candidate in modern history - after all, even with Emailgate breaking well past the point at which Hillary speculation reached a fever pitch and gaining traction only after the campaign began, she still continues to beat an insurgent populist challenger and continues to poll ahead of Trump (and polled ahead of most GOP contenders for most of the race).
