I actually used to back in 2010-ish. Words just came to me quickly; if I was really determined, I could write a full album (12 tracks; not all were AMAZING, though) within an hour or two.
I then realized most of them were really boring, so I stopped writing songs and stuck to writing stories, which I do whenever I can.

Aww. I hope that wasn't the sole reason you stopped.  If it was me, I would continue to write, even if people found it boring. Although you still write stories, so that's good. I never really liked writing stories, although, without trying to be arrogant, I think I am pretty good at making up stories.
Will you be writing songs for every single you release in CaL? It would be cool if someone else besides me did that.

Dr. Luke, Cirkut, Marina herself, Porter Robinson and Rick Nowels. Cirkut & Porter went all OWT with the dubstep in the middle 8. It's somewhat different for the Luke/Cirkut team, mostly due to the lack of the type of guitars you normally see in their productions. Marina needs a smash.

Besides creative writing, I've been trying to write screenplays, because I usually have pictured my stories as movies rather than as actual books. I doubt any of them would really get considered as a type of movie, but one can dream.
I actually am considering that. I just need to make sure I have enough points to keep putting out singles to write.

I like how you try to write different things. I limit myself to songs mostly, but whenever I wrote, people complimented my poetry more than anything. If it works, then why not. This will sound weird, but I actually make up "movies" in my head when I go to sleep. Maybe I should write one of them I make up down sometime.
And if you do write the songs, then I'd finally have a writing buddy in CaL.

I wrote my first short story when I was 7. It was called "An Underwater Story", and was based on a really weird dream I had.

For the bass drop in the second verse, imagine just a split second of that beat towards the beginning of the Cirkut remix of "Blow" mixed a tiny bit with the beat in Porter Robinson's "Spitfire". 
The actual dubstep in the middle 8 is beyond words.

Already confirmed for a release, the video for the new single by Marina Diamandis, known better by her stage name Marina and the Diamonds, "Needles and Pins (I'm Not Alright)" has been confirmed to be directed by Jonas Åkerlund. Filming began, according to Diamandis, "the day after [she] started recording [the song]".
Åkerlund described various parts of the video in a brief interview just outside a studio owned by Diamandis' label, Written Without Warrant:
"It's just so insane. She's everywhere in it, and it's like nothing you've seen before. Eating diamonds at a dinner table in Hell, hanging herself with pearl necklaces from a tree, stabbing another woman with a piece of a mirror and glitter coming out instead of blood, Marina's just doing a bunch of crazy stuff. There's also the man she likes, who I don't think I would like to name yet, who is often just in the background, and tries to avoid the conflict between Marina and the girl that he's currently dating. It's very dramatic, and builds up a lot. There's also this subtle thing we added to it that we're still working on, where certain colors show up more with each shot, which is supposed to signify a giant change in Marina's feelings towards the man and herself... Every now and then, you'll also see a shot of her on an overpass of a highway, and the end implies... A lot. You'll just have to wait."
Only minutes ago, the singer stated the video was still in an editing process, with the video to be premiering with in the next 48 hours.
The video is slated to premiere on the night of Monday, May 27, and release for digital download on the following day, Tuesday the 28th. Be sure to watch it premiere on E!, and then purchase it for digital download on iTunes, Amazon and other digital retailers. Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have released yet another single together called "Hit The Drum". Although Selena's always been a quite sexual act, and Justin's been acting a little wild lately, is this song too much? Some say it's demeaning to women and misogynistic to women, and others are wondering why the self-proclaimed feminist Selena would even participate in this song. In case you haven't heard the song (which we've doubt since it's featured on 2 #1 albums!) it's a song about a guy wanting to slap a girl's ass and her willingly letting him. "She make me wanna hit the drum, when she shake make me go dumb" the song proclaims.
