Does it remove the middle 8 and make the song less tween-girl-like in the verses? If it fixes the first issue I'll give it a listen, if it fixes the second issue as well it'll easily be the best remix ever made.
I feel like Katy wrote a song about partying then went "****, loads of my fans are underage. I better tone it down" and that's where lyrics about getting her nails done before checking out hot guys eatting tacos and talking about horoscopes came from. I cannot relate to the song at all. Awesome instrumental and chorus though.
