It's not just the sun though, it's Dan Wootton. He got Zayn's first interview after leaving, he got 1D's first interview after zayn leaving the band, he was the first to review/listen to the MM album, gets exclusive zerrie and sophiam, and 1D pictures and (photoshoots) candids as well. The sun is still their mouthpiece and Dan is still good friends with their management. I would not write him off completely cause what he says about 1D we're supposed to hear about it. Also Harry has been confirmed to be asked to be in about 3 movies so far that he had to turn down because of 1D work. It's not really unbelievable for them to take a break and do some stuff anyway.
