Mess, not y'all banning everything. Smogon who? You should just follow standard monotype rules. If you keep going "x type doesn't have a _____", you might as well ban everything other than regular mons. Ban pseudo legendaries cuz fairy type doesn't have one. Ban lesser trio legendaries bc dark/ghost/bug type doesn't have one, ban starters cuz there's no dragon or bug starter, etc

Anyway some monotypes are just better and y'all gotta accept that. At a certain point in the ladder all you'll see is like Steel/Psychic/Poison etc., you just have to adapt.
