She doesn't release enough singles to be as big as Riri though. I think that's one of her problems. We only get three singles an era these days and they are so spaced apart. Even My December could of done better had it had more than one proper single

Getting into Kelly's discography. Why wasn't Long Shot a single?

Because Kelly hates sounding like other artists and thought she sounded too much like Katy on the song. She didn't even want it on the album but the label did. She's only performed it once at some obscure location I think.

Its a flawless song though.

She did - there was an interview were they asked her about her Katy Perry songs and she said Long Shot was the last song picked for the album because she felt it sounded to samey to Katy's version; doesn't mean she didn't like the song.

MD could've been handled so much better, even as a "flop" era. Never Again was a good first single, but i honestly think they should've at LEAST released DWYT as the 2nd US single (if you aren't counting Sober) since it already had the music video and all. Then they could've released Sober as the 3rd single and done an actual video / more promotion for it. IIRC, didn't they just throw it out there in like June and let it fall from the bottom to rock bottom by July? I only remember her performing it during album promotion.

Honestly, I don't think anyone anticipated IDNHU to flop like it did. It was perfect radio candy that just backfired.
