hmmm, the blue dress Lord wore to the Keds event yesterday was Oscar de la Renta, the ballgown she wore to the Met was Oscar de la Renta (which is a big deal as he is pretty much considered as the best couturier in america, so for him to ask her to wear him for the met is a statement), the blue coat she wore out the hotel to the met over her dress was Oscar de la Renta, the orange dress she wore to the Harry's Party pre-Met event was Oscar de la Renta, and the blue and white dress she wore last sunday to and from gym was Oscar de la Renta. is it too soon to call her as the new face of the brand? my spider-senses are eyeing out a Jennifer Lawrence Dior $30 mil sized deal

Some thoughts on the next album; your input welcomed.

okay so I'm starting to think that she would be better off releasing her new album late in the year after Grammy eligibility for 2015 or even early next year. The reason is next year at the Grammys everyone is going to want to give Beyonce the awards for her album release and for Taylor to go up against that would be very bad for her, whether she won or not she would lose because once again the media and online and supporters of Beyonce would again cause her a lot of backlash.

On the other hand, if Adele releases also in october, and is eligible for grammy's in 2015, not only would Taylor be up against Beyonce, the media favorite, she'd also be up against Adele; the critic's darling and sales juggernaut. Adele can go toe to toe with Beyonce at grammys and win without losing media and gp favor. Taylor would face so much more negatives in all those areas against either Adele or Beyonce.

So Im in favor of Adele releasing Sept or October and Taylor releasing Nov or December..

The other possibility I see is Adele releasing Black Friday and selling 2 mill or more. In which case Taylor is screwed both this year and next as far as major awards go.

Maybe. I wish she got that type of deal with J. Mendel though because I think they fit better together.Some of Taylor's best looks have come from J. Mendel. I feel the same way about Jennifer and Dior. She would have been a better fit with Calvin Klein. Charlize Theron fits Dior so much better.

J. Mendel isn't the financial juggernaut that Oscar de la Renta is, so they probably couldn't even afford to put Lord on the pay roll, other than giving her first dibs on their upcoming collections. as for Jennifer, as indicated by her personality, she is a sponge and thus her look would work with ant brand because she tailors herself to fit what people want her to be (because she has the charisma of dry clay)
