I'm getting so annoying with everyone saying that the songs flopping, literally there have been the same people PERCHED in here since it was announced, saying how it's flopping, etc. It's night time! It's dropping. That's NOTHING different to what it was doing last night, the night before, etc. It's called BirthDAY, not BirthNIGHT. It drops during the night.
Besides it's GOOD that it hasn't just jumped straight to the Top 10 otherwise then it's prone to dying fast. It's a slow burner, it's getting to the top, slowly but surely, Billboard even confirmed this. Just be patient, and stop expecting it to just race up the charts.

I'll be really sad if they release the Cash Cash remix, but at this stage I can see them doing so, especially with how positively it's been received and its inclusion in the MV credits. The whole charm of the song imo is the throwback disco Mariah Carey vibe, hence the throwback artwork. The Cash Cash remix literally removes that element and makes it sound exactly like everything else on the radio right now... which while is annoying, is exactly the reason why it'd do well, and Capitol probably know that, and if the original doesn't start doing better quick (which I'm confident it will) they may start pushing that instead.

I agree. The Cash Cash Remix is the best card they can pull out now, and they will probably wait to see how the original version does

It just started. Let it go. Who cares how this does tbh. As long as I can jam to it this summer on the radio I'm happy. TD was an extremely rare album, not everything will run the same. Prism has already exceeded all expectations for a great pop record

I agree with you. I love the disco vibe on the song and I don't know why everyone still preferr that EDM remix. It's kinda sad to be honest. The original version is so good and worthy.

gurls calm down about the floppage.. i am not a katy fan by any stretch nor did I like the video, but the song is great and it's perfect for radio. the only issue right now is Dark Horse. Just give it time, B'Day willl do great things
