Aerys "had his way" (AKA raped) Tywin's wife on their wedding night. Before Jaime and Cersei were conceived. As far as I know, it never happened again. The twins also happen to share countless Targaryen traits and there's lots of motifs and ironies that would be strengthened if Tywin was not the twins father, whereas making Tyrion a Targaryen would utterly destroy the relationship between him and Tywin from a writing standpoint

Seems unlikely to me, although I do wonder who will ride the third dragon… who else is left alive that may be part Targaryen? The user above who mentioned that the twins could be Targaryens, now that's interesting. I could see Jaime as a dragonrider tbh.


On a different note, I wonder if Tommen is gonna die this season. He's still alive and healthy in the books, but they're bumping up enough storylines that I'm not sure they won't off him during this season.

According to some family trees Martin has provided Robert and Stannis have Rhaelle Targaryen as their grandmother, what if it's Stannis?

Dany is the one with the connection to Khal Drogo and Drogon is named after him, so that's obviously the dragon she rides. If Rheagar is Jon's father than it would make sense that he would tame the dragon Rhaegal, right? The dragon named Viserion is named after Viserys and the theory about Tyrion's father being Aerys would make him a half-brother to Dany/Viserys/Rhaegar, is it just coincidence that dragon's name is a combination of Viserys and Tyrion? Viserion is Tyrion's dragon to tame, then. That's pretty much what I think about it.

Yall are really forgetting Maester Aemon is a Targaryen. I mean I know he is old as **** but he actually completes the triad of the last Targayens. While there has already been hints in both the books and the show that Jon is actually Rhaegar and Lyanna's son, there has been no indication that Tyrion is a Targaryen. It would be super lame if they threw that twist in last minute.
