I'm sure Gaga and co have a lot planned for this era! Maybe they didn't want her to have a short lived era to avoid all their resources being spent in the beginning.

It's evident that they're aiming for longevity this era and spacing things out so I agree. Perhaps they want it to expand well into 2017 to have some Grammy hype
I do believe DIC could revive this era in Europe. Probably not in US though - MR and A-YO are the only real singles the album had left, so if MR doesn't end up taking off like I still think it will, A-YO is the last option
