Cheers and CKB will be the other #1's from LOUD.

Yes!! I cant wait for Cheers to be released in May/June then she can release the ballad for the fall in September and shoot the video before she goes to tour in the UK. But from the dates of the Tour it looks like Rihanna wont be able to attend the AMAs this year because she has dates throughout award season. but Im sure she will be free for the VMAs and Grammys.

Yeah, that's right tour will eat up everything, but I think CKB should be next single, before Cheers, CKB needs to eligble for Grammys, because its going to the song that will help sell the album and earn many praises and awards for sure!
Cheers should be a summer single, followed by Fading just so it will sustain the album while she's touring!

I hope she gives us a drop dead performance!! I hope she dances and if I could choose the songs to perform I would do:
SOS, Dont Stop The Music, Umbrella, Only Girl and S&M.
These 5 songs would be killer!!!

Cheers WILL be the Summer single. Songs that are release in May/June time frame are usually the summer hits lol. Umbrella was released in like April and was the song of the summer. katy's song was release in may as well. Plus if CKB gets released in September its still eligible for the Grammys as the cutoff date is the end of September.

Pon De Replay, SOS, Umbrella, RudeBoy, OG/S&M
Showcasing every ERA of Rih!

Oh, I see what you're saying, okay! Well then Cheers first, then CKB!
I have a feeling CKB will be freakin' HUGE! similar to LTWYL last year!
CHEERS will be like Umbrella of the summer hopefully, but we can't forget about the duet with Katy, i'm sure that will be in the summer too!

S&M will be fine, we have no idea how the run of S&M will be. IT could PULL a Firework for all we know. If it doesnt go #1, not the end of the world, I want some good sales from S&M, 3x plat easily!
Top 3 hit isnt too bad, but I think the Grammys will help this song alot, its like a "new" song for her, so she will hold her own up against Gaga, and HIAM is about done anyway, the video then grammys, her main worries should be GAGA, but hopefully she can out do her at least a week with airplay.
|
Um...no. The only performance that was after RB hit #1 was the Kid's Choice Awards (but it was during her 5 week stay at the top)
AOL, Ellen, Pepsi Smash, and all her overseas performances were before.
HIAM has almost 90 points in airplay, and the Grammy performance will obviously spike her sales for a week. S&M has less than 30 points in airplay.
Top 3, or 5 or 10 isn't bad. It's just sad when you know it could potentially hit #1 if she backed the single more.

Mkay..you may be right, I can't remember, I didn't really follow the "Rated R" Era.
EDIT: and yeah but I'm sure S&M will sneak in a spot at #1, but if not, oh well!

what a mess this S&M situation, the song was hot enough to do without all this controversy
But with the brits she cand go no.1 in the uk depending on gaga's single. In the USA it will be more difficult

I dont think gaga is going to release Born This Way in the US and UK at the same time so if she does that its gonna be hard for Rih to get the number one. But after the Brits I expect S&M to be at least Top 5 on the UK Singles Charts because its not being officially released until like April something...

WTF? are you seriously comparing Katy Perry to RIHANNA. Who has an EXTENSIVE discography of hits? 5 albums deep. almost 10 #1 singles? People are going to come to see Rihanna and hear all of her hits since day 1.
HA! Come on Deemy. Let's think before we post. Rihanna is going to slay. No questions asked.
Her album is top 5. And sales are only going to get better when these high profile performances take into effect.
