we should go back to 30 articles this week not just cuz i want it but to see if people are interested in doing 30 articles again, if people don't like 30 and prefer the easier 20 then the rest of the season would be 20 articles.
if you can get the chart done quickly i think it's better to have it out sunday because it lets people know if they wanna continue promoting something or move on/try something else cause what they did this week didn't work
that's just my two cents

I agree w/ all this. Am just scared if I set it back to 30 then everything magically overloads for me again.
Ch @ me being a horrible, unfair, and nonnegotiable host when I always listen to y'all, give some of you your first #1's, give you 'break weeks' where you do less, and even read through ALL your articles for hours whereas other hosts would glimpse through lists and make a chart.

It will probably overload again but there's a few ways to make it easier, some are better than others.
-Have everyone send you a mandatory promo list at the end of friday, even if they aren't complete you can start evaluating the point value of what they send in, then they can send in a revised promo list saturday with whatever they were missing and you won't have as much articles to look at.
-Bump up the deadline by a few hours? idk if this will help much/is a good idea
-Don't promise a time for the chart reveal, say that it will possibly come out Sunday and just stay away from the thread while making the chart. If you have it sunday post it, if not, just post it Monday.
Those are my best ideas tbh
+Sorry for flipping last week I already apologized but yeah you're a great host, I think you're definitely one of the best hosts CAL has ever had thus far.

Well damn. I've just read the last few pages and I only have one thing to say.
Jax you know I love you but you need to take a ****ing seat downE. It's a game. Chill. So what you got 18 articles done out of 20? That's basically all of them anyway. Regardless of the fact that you said to iHype that you were going to be away all day, it's not like that was the only day you had to write articles. Everyone had a full seven day week. As iHype said, allowing you that extra time to post the articles would be unfair to everyone who did managed to do what they needed to do by the deadline.
I found out last minute that I was going to be away all day on Saturday (9 hours at work) and instead of wallowing in my own self pity I got up and did something about it (that being staying up until 1:30 in the morning and then getting up at 8:00 in the morning just to finish all 20 of my articles (I wrote 22 in total since I did one for Tove and one for Calvin too) before my 9 hour shift on about 6 hours of sleep). That's called dedication, and if you were as serious as you seem about this game then you would have done something similar in order to make sure you met the deadline instead of finishing with 18 articles when you knew you were going to be gone for the day.
For me I don't even care if I hit #1 or not, I do this because it's fun and I enjoy typing the articles. The second that this stops being a fun game and starts becoming a chore I won't be playing anymore. But if I hit #1 of course that's an added bonus that I'll be happy with. I wish Azealia and her single / album all of the best but you really need to just settle down and realise it's not that big of a deal if you get blocked because at the end of the day all it means is someone worked harder that week.
