They pretty much did - but it's two different labels. in 06/07 she was signed to Columbia who then dropped her as they didn't know how to market her - she was then picked up by Capitol who took the 7 or so best songs from the Columbia records and recorded 5 more with Dr Luke and such.
The 2007 album with Columbia had: Fingerprints (Promo CD/ That Interview/Website), The Box (Promo CD), Waking Up In Vegas (Performance), If You Can Afford Me (Performance), Wish You The Worst (Performance), I'm Still Breathing (Performance), Thinking of You (Capitol A&R Guy), UR So Gay (Can't remember why, but I think it was.)
And that's all I can really track down at the moment. Other songs like Sex Sells, The First Time, Simple, Cup of Coffee, Takes One To Know One are likely to have been on it due to when they were written, but I dunno. Mannequinn's another which might've popped up on it due to the producer.
And we all know what the 2008 album with Capitol had. 'Katy Perry', ''Fingerprints' and 'One of The Boys' all mesh into one album recording session really, but there are several distinct tracks between them.

Dr. Luke only made two songs on OOTB.
She should have put Box, Simple, and Wish You The Worst on OOTB. and cut Ur So Gay.  Oh and I wouldn't have minded if her Use Your Love cover was it too.

Yeah, I said "and such" because I couldn't remember the other producers who only joined for OOTB 
Apparently Greg Wells came back to write another 2 songs (UR So Gay and Mannequin? M used to be done by Butch Walker, but not any more according to Wiki....) as well as Dr Luke so there's 4. Apparently 5 or so new songs were done for OOTB so I think that's where the title track appeared too. + the 5 I have listed there = 10
Self Inflicted & Lost were written around the time of '(A) Katy Perry)' so they are probably 11 & 12. Though 'Cup of Coffee' appeared on (A)KP and a bonus on OOTB so it must've been on Fingerprints somewhere?
So yeah, Fingerprints is basically One of The Boys, but technically different!
I know this probably bores you all, but it's helping me avoid writing an essay so shush!

I know everything else is common knowledge around the interested-in-old-Katy fans, but the album title is new info!  I've never seen anyone refer to it before...
It amuses me that right before she mentioned the album when designing her game she's like "Yeah, it'd be a little bit like the Sims..."

I always thought (after seeing that image ) that Fingerprints was meant to be either the lead single or the album title (or both  ) But now that I think about it, I don't remember reading someone discussing about it 
She's so weird about certain things  It's like she knows what's gonna happen
