Ugh I might have to watch his speech. I wonder who wrote it for him. It won't change anything I don't think and I will never vote for him in a million years.

I understand what he is trying to say. Is that you have to be able vet people effectively if you truly want to keep people safe. But he needs better speechwriters and a speech coach.
The thing I didn't get is that Trump made the speech about the shooter and why his ban from certain areas of the world (still impractical but not unconstitutional like the ban on Muslims) is justified. But the Orlando shooter was an American so I didn't really understand his speech.
Hillary Clinton can never claim to be a friend of the gay community as long as she continues to support immigration policies that bring Islamic extremists to our country who suppress women, gays, and anyone else who doesn't share their views or values.
I'm not a racist, so Hillary's stances don't bother me to be honest.
And, Trump cannot criticize Hillary's stance with the LGBTQ community when she is one of the few to acknowledge that the Orlando shooting was an act of homophobia, has stressed the importance of LGBTQ issues, fought for trans citizens to serve in the military, has HIV/AIDS as an issue of her platform, and many other things while Trump has yet to do anything regarding LGBTQ issues.
It's called brain drain.
